AtlasScientific EZO Complete-TMP USB Temperature Meter

Product Information

The EZO Complete-TMP is a USB Temperature meter designed and manufactured by AtlasScientific. It is a dustproof and splash-resistant device with a USB connector and a probe connector. The readings provided by the EZO Complete-TMP are interference-free and unaffected by other sensors in the same water. The device can read temperatures from any type and brand of PT-100 or PT-1000 temperature sensors with single-point accuracy. The readings are displayed at a rate of 1 reading per second.

Product Usage Instructions

To use the EZO Complete-TMP, follow these instructions:

  1. Ensure that the USB connector and the probe connector are free from water or any other liquid. Water entering the USB connector can cause an electrical short and permanently damage the device. Water entering the probe connector can cause a temporary connector to short, affecting temperature readings and potentially damaging the temperature probe.
  2. Connect the EZO Complete-TMP to your computer using the USB connector.
  3. Install the AtlasDesktop monitoring software on your computer.
  4. Once the software is installed, open it and click on the gear icon to access the setup options.
  5. Follow the on-screen calibration steps to calibrate the device. Make sure to issue calibration commands only when the readings have stabilized to avoid drifting readings.
  6. If you want to link the temperature readings from the EZO Complete-TMP to other EZO-Complete sensors for temperature compensation, navigate to the advanced setup options in the software. You can link the temperature readings to other sensors’ readings, such as conductivity, for temperature-compensated measurements.

Note: For detailed instructions on specific setup procedures or troubleshooting, refer to the product manual or check for updates on the manufacturer’s website.

Ingress protection IP62

The EZO Complete-TMP™ is dust proof and resistant to splashing water. Two areas of concern are the USB connector and the probe connector.Atlas-

An electrical short can occur if water enters the USB connector. A USB short could permanently damage the EZO-Complete. A USB short is not covered under warranty.Atlas-Scientific-EZO-Complete-TMP-USB-Temperature-Meter-FIG-1

A connector short can occur if water enters the SMA connector. A connector short will cause the temperature readings to pin to -1023, or the probe will respond slowly to changes in temperature. A connector short is reversible and will not damage the EZO-Complete. However, frequent shorts will eventually damage the temperature probe .Atlas-Scientific-EZO-Complete-TMP-USB-

The SMA connector is part of your probe; Nothing should be in contact with this part.

Do not use this as a mounting point!

Setup
Once you have installed the AtlasDesktop monitoring software, you can begin monitoring and logging your readings.

Best practices for calibration

Always watch the readings throughout the calibration process. Issue calibration commands once the readings have stabilized.

Never do a blind calibration! Issuing a calibration command before the readings stabilize will result in drifting readings

Advanced setup

The EZO-Complete-TMP readings can be linked to other EZO-Complete sensors to provide temperature compensation to the other sensors readings.
