ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

General information on assembly

  • Before you start assembling the product, read the assembly steps carefully and look at the exploded view.
  • Remove all packaging material and then place the individual parts on a clear surface. This gives you an overview and makes assembly easier. Use an underlay to protect the assembly surface from dirt or scratches.
  • Now use the parts list to check whether all components are present. Do not dispose of the packaging material until assembly is complete.
  • Please note that there is always a possible risk of injury when using tools and manual work. Therefore, be careful and prudent when installing the product.
  • Ensure a safe working environment, e.g., do not leave tools lying around. Dispose of packaging material in such a way that no danger can arise from it. Foil or plastic bags pose a choking hazard for children.
  • After assembling the product according to the assembly instructions, make sure that all screws, bolts, and nuts are properly installed and tightened.
  • If necessary, place a protective mat (not included in the scope of delivery) under the product to protect your floor, as it cannot be ruled out that e.g., rubber feet leave marks.
  • You need an area of approx. 2 x 3 m for assembly.
  • IMPORTANT: Despite our intensive quality control, damage to the water tank of the device can occur, for example, due to the effects of transport. Please therefore pay attention to leaking or dripping water when filling for the first time and place a suitable collecting vessel underneath to protect the floor. If your water tank is damaged, please contact our service center.

Assembly steps rowing machine

  • Take the folded rowing machine out of the box and place it on the assembly surface. Then carefully unfold the rowing machine and lay it flat on the ground.
  • Our suggestion to avoid possible pinch points (see Figure 1): To unfold the rowing machine, grasp the round rod (N) of the lower part and then carefully lift the rear rail (M).
  • Then slide the seat (B) onto the rear rail (M) and then screw the seat stoppers (D) to the rear rail (M) using the socket head screws (E) as shown.
  • Open the display of your computer so that you can see it clearly while sitting on the rowing machine. Your new water rowing machine is now fully assembled.

Fill & empty the water tank

  1. Remove the cap (G) from the top of the water tank.
  2. Fill the tank as shown in Figure 3 “Fig. 1″. Insert the flexible hose from the pump (C) into the tank. Provide water in a bucket or other suitable container. Then fill the tank using the supplied siphon pump (C).
    • Use the scale on the side of the water tank to fill in the desired amount of water. Do not add water to the tank above the maximum fill mark.
    • The amount of water in the tank determines the training resistance of the rowing machine. For example, level 1 means a light training resistance and level 6 means a heavy training resistance.
  3. Empty the tank by holding the pump’s fixed tube (C) into the tank and guiding the flexible hose into a bucket or other suitable container (see Figure 3 “Fig. 2”). Then, using the supplied siphon pump (C), pump the water from the tank into the bucket or other suitable container.
  4. Then close the tank again with the cap (G). Wipe off any water that may have spilled with a rag or the like.

Notice:

  • Only fill the tank with tap water and not with well or rainwater. If tap water is not available, please use distilled water and add a water purification tablet. Never use chlorine for swimming pools or chlo-rine bleach! Observe the information on maintenance and repairs.
  • The water from the tank is not suitable for human or animal consumption. Please dispose of the water after emptying the tank.Wasser-Ruderger-t-1026003-42-2023-Water-Rower-Wood-Compact-fig- \(5\)

Computer
After inserting the batteries (2 pieces AAA 1.5V battery – please do not use rechargeable batteries as they may not fit into the battery compartment due to their usually larger size) or switching on the computer, the LCD display lights up and checks all display options for about two (2) seconds and emits an acoustic signal.

  • Make sure you insert the batteries with the correct polarity as shown. The contact wires must touch the poles for a problem-free power supply. Then close the battery compartment cover on the back of the computer.
  • ATTENTION: If the display does not show anything after inserting the correct battery, remove the battery and wait about 15 seconds before reinserting it as described above.
  • Check whether the used battery still has sufficient reserve. If in doubt, replace the battery and check the computer again. If you still cannot see anything on the display, please contact our service center at the e-mail address SERVICE@LA-SPORTS.DE.
  • The supplied computer can be easily operated during training. The individual training values are shown on the LCD display. Training time, distance, number of calories burned (approximate), speed/watt, number of rows in training total number of rows since batteries were installed, and heart rate (optional, measured via a chest strap with Bluetooth transmission). measured from the start of training. All values start at zero.
  • The computer can be started by pressing a button or starts automatically as soon as you start training. The computer will initially store the last displayed values for time, number of strokes, calorie consumption, and distance so that you can continue the training session if you wish. The computer switches off automatically (auto on/off) about 4 minutes after the end of the training session.
  • The computer is tested and approved according to applicable EMC standards. However, it is still possible for the display to show an erroneous reading due to electrostatic discharge. This can lead to unwanted resets and incorrect values. In this case, the computer must be restarted by removing and reinserting the batteries correctly.
