Professional Cardioid Performance
for Clean, Noise-Free Audio Capture
User Manual
I see you have found cardioid mic nirvana! Our H&A ACS0 DYNAMIC STUDIO
MICROPHONE is just what you require for accurate and clean audio capture for
all your recording applications.
Epic voice performance deserves a superlative pickup. Live, accurate to the
sound source sensitivity, from a whispered nuance to the thundering baritone.
The mic rises to the occasion with several envious features: Revel in the
classic cardioid polar pattern behavior that rejects off-axis coloration.
Appreciate the clean, flat, pristine capture that preserves the richness of
the human voice. The moving-coil (dynamic) transducer delivers an impressive
20 to 20,000 Hz wide frequency response. More sound for your track and smiles
under the headphones.
The excellent performance and rare characteristics of the HA AC50 make it the
first choice for applications for podcasts, broadcast, studio, vocals,
narration, fish pole use, and instrumentals. Whether you are a professional
sound shaper or a budding talent seeking recognition, this mic will strut your
stuff for the appreciative audience, time and time again. Encore!

Assembly Guide
Loosen the Microphone Mount twist knob of the clamp. Slip the back end of the
ACSO into the receiving hole of the Microphone Mount. Tighten the knob to
secure the microphone position.
The Screw Bushing Adapter adapts the stand port from 3/8 to 5/8 inches.
Remove the H&A ACSO from the Microphone Mount by loosening the knob while holding on to the mic. Then slip the mic out of the Mount.

Microphone Connection
The three-pin XLR professional audio connector port at the rear of the mic
mates with XLR 3 pin female cables such as the Canon XL series, Switchcraft A3
(Q-G) series, or equivalent audio connectors. A long, flexible cable that is
tangle-free serves your optimal purpose. Seat and lock the cable to assure
uninterrupted audio pickup.
Low Cut Switches
The Low Cut [Bass Rolloff] switch setting instantly controls for flat mid-
range frequency response by Loeb in the low-frequency range. The location of
the switch is under the back of the microphone base.
