The GSO Linear Bearing Focuser EAF bracket (model numbers: EAF-GSO-2LBF / EAF- GSO-3.25LBF) is an accessory designed to securely attach the GSO Linear Bearing Focuser to your telescope.
It allows for precise and smooth focusing, enhancing your astronomical observations.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure that you have the following tools: 1.5mm hex key and 2.5mm hex key.
  2. Place the focuser with the bottom pointing up to prevent it from falling. Remove the 4 screws that secure the focuser housing.
  3. Locate the included (4) M3x14mm socket head screws and the 2.5mm hex key. Attach the bracket to the focuser by evenly tightening all four screws until they are snug. Then, tighten each screw an additional 1/4 turn, making sure to tighten them evenly.
  4. Slide the coupler onto the focuser pinion shaft.
  5. Attach the Electronic Automatic Focuser (EAF) to the bracket using the M4 screws provided by ZWO with the EAF.
  6. Using the 1.5mm hex key, tighten the set screws on the coupleruntil they are snug. Be careful not to overtighten.

GSO Linear Bearing Focuser EAF bracket Installation Instructions

(EAF-GSO-2LBF / EAF-GSO-3.25LBF)

Tools needed: 1.5mm hex key, 2.5mm hex key

Please follow carefully!

  1. With the bottom of the focuser pointing up to avoid falling, remove the 4 focuser housing screws.
  2. Locate included (4) M3x14mm socket head screws. Using the 2.5mm hex key, secure the bracket to the focuser by evenly tightening all 4 screws until they are snug. Tighten 1/4 turn more, being careful to tighten all 4 screws evenly.
  3. Slide the coupler onto the focuser pinion shaft.
  4. Attach the EAF to the bracket using M4 screws supplied by ZWO with the EAF.
  5. Using the 1.5mm hex key, tighten the set screws on the coupler until they are snug. Do not over tighten.
