FLUKE 2052R Wire Tracer Receiver
Product Information
The 2052R/2062R Wire Tracer Receiver is a device used for tracing and locating
wires. It is designed to work in conjunction with the 2000T Wire Tracer
Transmitter. The receiver is equipped with a Smart SensorTM (2062R) that
enhances wire detection capabilities. The transmitter sends signals that can
be detected by the receiver, allowing users to trace wires accurately.
Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that the 2000T Wire Tracer Transmitter is turned on and functioning properly.
- Hold the 2052R/2062R Wire Tracer Receiver in your hand, with the sensor facing toward the area where you want to trace wires.
- Move the receiver slowly and steadily along the suspected wire path.
- Observe the receiver’s display screen or indicator lights for any changes or signals.
- If the receiver detects a wire signal, it will provide visual or audible indications, such as a change in display readings or LED lights.
- Continue moving the receiver along the wire path until the signal becomes stronger or more consistent.
- Use the receiver’s sensitivity adjustment feature to optimize the detection based on the wire’s distance or signal strength.
- If necessary, use additional tools like the J (2052R) tip sensor or breaker (2062R) to further narrow down the wire location.
- Once the wire is successfully traced, mark or note its location for future reference.
- After usage, turn off both the transmitter and receiver to conserve battery power.
Note : For enhanced wire detection capabilities, use the Smart SensorTM (2062R) on the 2062R Wire Tracer Receiver. The sensor can provide more accurate and reliable wire-tracing results.
