Product Usage Instructions:

Using a 13mm Socket and wrench, assemble the frame mount to the
lateral mounting brackets. Use bolts (10) and nuts (13). Note the
orientation of the brackets. Torque bolts to 16 ft-lbs.
Assemble the Linkage to the bracket assembly using a 15mm
Socket or wrench. Use the supplied flange Bolts (9). Do not tighten
bolts, leave them loose to adjust the linkage in a later step.
Loosen the factory bed bolt using a 15mm socket with an
extension. Loosen it enough to slide the bracket assembly into
position.
Set the linkage assembly into position and tighten the bed
bolt. Torque the bed bolt to 40ft-lbs.
Assemble the Rear support Bracket (#5). Use Bolt (#12) and nut
(#13) on the linkage assembly and Bolt (#12) and threaded nut plate
(#8) on the Frame. Torque bolts to 16ft-lbs.
Locate the factory bed bolt. Using a 13mm socket or wrench,
remove the bolt.
Using the factory bolt removed in the previous step, attach the
Install step pad (#2) onto the linkage. Torque it to 5ft-lbs.
Attach the bracket to the bed. Use the supplied Bolt (#12) and
Nut (#13) to attach the bracket to the linkage assembly. Torque
bolts to 16ft-lbs. For 6.5′ bed applications, center the step pad
on the linkage. For 5.5′ bed applications, offset the step pad
forward on the linkage.
Verify step pad alignment to the body line of the vehicle.
Tighten the linkage bolts using a socket or wrench. Torque
bolts to 20ft-lbs.
To deploy the step, press down using your foot on the outside
edge of the step pad.
To retract the step, gently kick up on the underside of the
step pad.

Set linkage assembly into position and tighten bed bolt. Torque bed bolt to 40ft-lbs.

Assemble Rear support Bracket (#5). Use Bolt (#12) and nut (#13) on linkage assembly and Bolt (#12) and threaded nut plate (#8) on Frame. Torque bolts to 16ft-lbs.

Locate factory bed bolt. Using a 13mm socket or wrench remove bolt.

Using factory bolt removed in previous step attach Install step pad (#2) onto linkage. Torque to 5ft-lbs.
