MONGOOSE VT900 GPS Tracker

Installation Steps

This step-by-step guide is to assist you with the process of getting your Mongoose VT900 GPS tracker online, please follow the steps below.

1. Register your ALDI Starter Pack pre paid sim card (included)
   

2. Please note this is not something we can do for you, it requires you to input your personal details in order to successfully register and activate your ALDI sim card

3. For more details please visit www.aldimobile.com.au/choose-activate/ or contact ALDI on 1300 989 000
   Once you complete registration, your ALDI sim card will be activated in a time frame provided by ALDI. Please be aware you need to monitor the balance of your sim card.
   You cannot move to the next step until you have registered and activated your ALDI sim card.

4. We suggest that you save the number of the ALDI sim card that you registered and activated in your mobile phone and apply a nickname so that you can easily find the number to SMS your GPS vehicle tracker (e.g. – the registration number of the vehicle the tracker is in)

5. Establish communications with your GPS vehicle tracker: In this step you will be using your mobile phone to send a text message to the number of ALDI sim card that you registered above, please follow the steps below:

6. On your mobile phone, open a new text message

7. Input the number of the ALDI sim card that you registered and activated (this is the number you are sending the text message to)

8.  Insert the following: admin123456 ALDInumber (i.e. – admin123456 0404222333)

9.  Send text message to your ALDI sim card that you registered and activated

10. If successful you will receive a message as follows: admin okay
    Receiving this means you have successfully established communications with your GPS tracker; if not please see trouble shooting steps on the next page
    I did not get the admin okay message, please check the following and try again:

11. Is your sim card activated?

12. Does your sim card have credit?

13. Setting the Mobile APN: This step is verify the Access Point Name of your sim card providers data channel, please follow the steps below:

14. On your mobile phone, open a new text message

15.  Input the number of the ALDI sim card that you registered and activated (this is the number you are sending the text message to)

16.  Insert the following*: apn123456 mdata.net.au

17.  Send text message to your ALDI sim card that you registered and activated

18. If successful you will receive a message as follows: APN okay
    Receiving this means you have successfully verified your sim cards APN number; if not please check you have input the correct APN message and try again
    If you supplied your own sim card please see below for alternate carriers; if your carrier is not listed you will have to contact your sim card provider to verify the correct APN:

19. Insert the following for Telstra: apn123456 telstra.internet OR apn123456
    telstra.wap

20. Insert the following for Vodafone: apn123456 live.vodafone.com

21. Insert the following for Optus: apn123456 connect OR apn123456 yesinternet OR apn123456 connectme

22. Download the Mongoose GPS tracker App: Depending on your device, go to the Apple Store or Google Play Store and search for: Mongoose GPS, or scan the QR code below.

23. Log in into the App: Two options, single vehicle or multiple vehicles as per below:

24. Single vehicle user

25. Select IMEI login type

26. Input your tracker IMEI number (this can be found on your tracker manual in the glove box, or on your invoice)

27. Enter the default password: 123456 it is highly recommended you change the password to a more secure one you will remember once logged in

28. Multiple vehicles user: Requires registration via Mongoose Australia; you can download the Mongoose GPS Tracker Account form via our website in the downloads tab: www.creativeinstallations.com.au/gps-trackers/mongoose-vt900-gps-vehicle-tracker Send the completed form to: [email protected]
    Once this process is complete you are ready to log in as per below:

29. Select Username login type

30. Input your Username

31. Enter the default password: 123456
    it is highly recommended you change the password to a more secure one you will remember once logged in

32. You can also login as a single or multiple vehicles user via the Mongoose GPS website:

33. www.mongoosegps.com

You are now set up and ready to use your Mongoose GPS tracker
