USING THE TREE-MOUNT WINCH ANCHORING SYSTEM:
- Insert the strap hook, with its opening front facing, into the left anchor point of the device (fig.1).
- Place the tree-mount winch anchoring at the base of the tree and feed the strap’s end through the ratchet system on its right (fig.2).
- Slide the whole set-up upward to the desired height (fig.3).
- Tighten the strap using the ratchet handle making sure the winch anchoring is well pressed against the tree (fig.4).
- To install the winch on the anchoring system, attach the winch’s anchoring hooks into the support plate’s rectangular holes (fig.5).
- Wrap the rope around the drum, start the engine and start pulling. The winch will automatically align itself with the load (fig.6).
ATTENTION
AFTER HAVING PULLED FOR A FEW SECONDS WITH THE WINCH ANCHORING INSTALLED,
RELEASE THE TENSION ON THE ROPE. CHECK THE SOLIDIY OF THE INSTALLATION AND
TIGHTEN THE STRAP AGAIN IF NEED BE.
PRECAUTION
TO PULL DOWNWARD OR UPWARD, YOU NEED TO INSTALL EITHER A PULLEY OR A ROLLER
TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE SUPPORT PLATE.
