The Type 5/6 Disposable Coverall is a high-quality product manufactured by Sealey. It is designed to provide protection and comfort during various tasks. Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the coverall, consult with qualified safety personnel to ensure that the coverall type and rating offer adequate protection for your intended use.
  2. The coverall is suitable for single use only and should not be re-used.
  3. When using the coverall with other personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, boots, and respiratory protection, ensure that all openings like wrists, ankles, and neck are securely taped to comply with EN requirements for Type 5/6 garments.
  4. The user should judge the suitability of the coverall for the type of protection required and select the correct combinations of coverall accessories and ancillary equipment.
  5. If the coverall becomes contaminated, worn, or damaged, it should be promptly removed and disposed of properly.
  6. Before wearing the coverall, always check its integrity to ensure it is in good condition.
  7. In very warm conditions, consider the possibility of heat stress. Use appropriate undergarments and ventilation equipment to reduce or eliminate heat stress.
  8. Avoid extreme heat and cold as they may affect the performance of the coverall.
  9. The coverall should not be used in situations where there is a risk from hazardous chemicals that have not been tested against. Refer to the physical performance of the coverall in relation to Type 5 and 6 testing.
  10. Ensure that compatible chemical-resistant gloves, boots, and respiratory protection are worn along with the coverall. The gloves should cover the elastic cuffs and allow unrestricted movement for the intended task.
  11. If you need further advice or assistance, please contact the manufacturer or distributor.
  12. It is recommended to use the product within 3 years from the date of manufacture/production written on the packaging.

  • WARNING: Restrictions on the coverall disposal depend solely on the contamination occurring during use.
  • When using the coverall with other PPE and in order to comply fully with EN requirement for Type5/6 garments, all openings such as wrist, ankles, neck etc., should be securely taped.
  • The user shall be the sole judge of the suitability for the type of protection required and the correct combinations of coveralls accessories and ancillary equipment.
  • Upon contamination, wear or damage, the coverall should be removed and appropriately disposed of at the earliest opportunity.
  • The wearer should always ensure to check the integrity of the coverall before wearing it.
  • The possibility of heat stress should be considered in very warm conditions. Heat stress can be reduced or eliminated by the appropriate use of undergarments and ventilation equipment.
  • Extreme of heat and cold may adversely affect the performance of this garment.
  • The coverall should not be used where there is a risk to certain hazardous chemicals that have not been tested against. Although limited protection can be offered from various chemicals, please refer to the physical performance of the coverall in relation to Type 5 and 6 testing.
  • The user must also wear compatible chemical-resistant gloves, boots and respiratory protection. The gloves should cover the elastic cuffs. An appropriate size should be selected by the user to allow for unrestricted movement for the intended task.

  • It is recommended that the product be used within a period of 3 years from the date of manufacture/production written on the packaging.

STORAGE

The coverall can be stored in accordance with normal storage practices in a dry environment away from sources of heat, light and direct sunlight.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner that is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
