Safety Instructions
- Ensure the device is used for its intended purpose of amplifying signals from musical instruments.
- Keep the device away from children to prevent choking hazards and injuries. Store packaging material out of their reach.
- Insert batteries correctly to avoid potential damage to the device or batteries.
- Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent damage from leaking batteries.
- Avoid using flammable cleaning agents on the device.
Features
The Acoustic Preamp offers the following features:
- Reverb control to adjust the amount of reverb mixed with the dry signal.
- LED indicator to show whether the effect is on or off.
- D.I. output for connecting to other devices.
- Tuner output for checking instrument tuning.
- Chorus effect with adjustable speed and depth.
Product Usage Instructions
- To power the unit, insert a 9V battery or connect a 9V DC adapter to the 9V socket on the front of the unit (center negative polarity).
- Connect your instrument to the INPUT jack using a 1/4″ jack cable. Turn the GAIN knob counterclockwise to the left stop.
- Play your instrument and gradually turn the GAIN control clockwise. Observe the CLIP LED. If it turns red, the input is overloaded and distortion occurs. Adjust the GAIN control counterclockwise until the LED lights up green only.
- To adjust the volume, turn the VOLUME knob to the desired position.
- Use the BASS and TREBLE knobs to adjust the desired sound. When the SHAPE switch is in the ON position, it attenuates the mids and boosts the treble and bass.
- To check instrument tuning, connect a tuner to the TUNER output.
- To accompany your playing, connect a device with line level output to the LINE IN jack. The signal is present at all outputs of the device.
- To activate the Chorus effect, press the CHORUS switch. Adjust the desired speed using the SPEED knob and the effect depth using the DEPTH knob. The corresponding LED will light up when the effect is activated.
