STENNER PUMP S7G45MFL1C4SWAA Classic Series Peristaltic Pump with 7.5
Gallon Tank System
Product Information
The product is a tank assembly for Classic Single Head Pumps and Econ and S Pump Lines. It is designed to be installed and maintained by a properly trained professional installer. The tank assembly comes with various accessories, including mounting brackets, screws, grommets, and a strainer. It is important to read the manual and labels for all safety information and instructions.
The Classic Single Head pumps require 2 mounting bracket screws, 2 grommets (1/4″), and 1 grommet (3/8″). The Econ Pump Line requires a separate Mounting Kit EC303 (sold separately). The tank assembly should be mounted by attaching the mounting bracket screws to the lowest and highest holes in the tank, sliding the mounting bracket under the screw head, and tightening both screws. The pump should not be slid into the bracket at this time.
There are recommended hole locations for drilling suction line holes, marked as B and C. If spill recovery is required, an additional hole (C) should be drilled. The appropriate grommets (1/4″ or 3/8″) should be installed into the holes. It is crucial to clean all debris inside the tank before use to prevent pump tube rupture or malfunction. The suction line should be inserted through the grommet location B until it is 2-3 inches from the bottom of the tank. The suction line end should be inserted into the weighted strainer inside the tank.
If optional spill recovery is needed for Classic Single Head pumps or S Pump Line (excluding S4 prefix pumps), a 1/4″ hole should be drilled in the tank surface below the pump head C. One of the two hole plugs should be punched out using a 7/32 punch or drill F. The pump head cover should be reinstalled and secured with latches. A 6-inch section of 1/4″ suction/discharge tubing should be inserted through the holes C and F. To attach and connect the pump, slide the pump into the mounting bracket A. Connect the suction line to the suction side of the pump G using the connecting nut and ferrule. The connection should be finger tight only, and no thread tape or pipe dope should be used. Complete the installation by following the instructions in the pump manual.
Product Usage Instructions
- Read the manual and labels for all safety information and instructions.
- Mounting the tank assembly:
- Attach the mounting bracket screws to the lowest and highest holes in the tank, leaving them loose enough to slide the mounting bracket under.
- Slide bracket A under the screw head.
- Secure the top of the mounting bracket by attaching the second mounting bracket screw and tightening both screws.
- Do not slide the pump into the bracket at this time.
- Drilling suction line holes:
- Measure and mark the location for the suction line hole B.
- If spill recovery is required, drill a hole C below the pump head using a 1/4″ drill bit.
- If hole C is drilled, use 1/4″ grommets for that hole. Otherwise, use 3/8″ grommets for hole B.
- Install the applicable grommets into the holes.
- Clean all debris inside the tank before use to prevent pump tube rupture or malfunction.
- Inserting the suction line:
- Insert the suction line through the grommet location B until it is 2-3 inches from the bottom of the tank.
- Remove the fill cap.
- Inside the tank, insert 4 inches of the suction line end D into the strainer E.
- Optional spill recovery (for Classic Single Head pumps and S Pump Line excluding S4 prefix pumps):
- Drill a 1/4″ hole in the tank surface below pump head C.
- Unlatch and remove the pump head cover.
- Punch out one of the two hole plugs using a 7/32 punch or drill F.
- Reinstall the pump head cover and secure the latches.
- Cut a 6-inch section of 1/4″ suction/discharge tubing and insert the ends through holes C and F.
- Attaching and connecting the pump:
- Slide the pump into mounting bracket A.
- Connect the suction line to the suction side of the pump G using the connecting nut and ferrule.
- The connection should be finger-tight only. Do not use thread tape or pipe dope.
- Complete the installation by following the instructions in the pump manual.

Overview
MOUNTING
CLASSIC SINGLE HEAD
Accessories
- 2 mounting bracket screws
- 2 grommets 1/4″
- 1 grommet 3/8″
ECON PUMP LINE
- Mounting Kit EC303 required, sold separately.
- Attach mounting bracket screw to the lowest hole in the tank and leave screw loose enough to slide the mounting bracket under the screw head. Then slide bracket A under the screw head.
- Attach the 2nd mounting bracket screw to secure the top of the mounting bracket and tighten both screws. DO NOT slide pump into bracket at this time.
GROMMETS
- Measure, then mark location to drill hole for suction line hole B. Drill C only if using spill recovery. Only use 1/4″ grommets in hole C.
- Drill proper hole sizes. 3/8″ drill bit for 1/4″ grommet; 1/2″ drill bit for 3/8″ grommet.
- Install applicable grommets into holes. B & C indicate the recommended hole locations which may vary based on the application or user’s requirements.
IMPORTANT: Failure to clean all debris inside the tank prior to use may lead to pump tube rupture or malfunction.
SUCTION LINE
Parts required (shipped with pump)
- 1 20′ suction/discharge tubing
- 1 connecting nut
- 1 ferrule
- 1 weighted strainer
- Insert suction line through the grommet location B until it is 2″-3″ from the bottom of the tank.
- Remove fill cap.
- Inside the tank, insert 4″ of the suction line end D into the strainer E. DO NOT slide suction line all the way to the bottom of the weighted strainer. The suction line could become flush with the nose of the strainer and the pump may not prime due to blockage.
- Adjust suction line to maintain weight 2″-3″ from the tank bottom.
- IMPORTANT: DO NOT allow the weight to rest on the bottom of the tank.
- Cut the suction line to leave approximately 9″ from location B. The line will be connected to the suction side of the pump head in the Pump Attachment and Connections section below.
OPTIONAL SPILL RECOVERY
CLASSIC SINGLE HEAD
S PUMP LINE (excluding S4 prefix pumps)
- Drill a 1/4″ hole in tank surface below pump head C.
- Unlatch and remove pump head cover.
- Punch out one of two hole plugs using 7/32″ punch or 7/32″ drill F.
- Reinstall pump head cover, secure latches.
- Cut 6″ section of 1/4″ suction/discharge tubing and insert ends through C and F.
