IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
SAVE AND READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Basic safety precautions should always be taken, including the following:
- READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS, including these important safeguards and the care and use instructions in this manual.
- Do not use this bowl for other than its intended use.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by Cuisinart may cause injuries.
- Do not use if the bowl has been damaged in any manner.
- Allow bowl to cool down before handling or moving.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use handles.
- Do not use this bowl or the lid on the stove top, under the broiler, in the freezer, or in the oven.
- Extreme caution must be used when unloading popcorn.
- Close supervision is necessary when this bowl is used by or near children.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not clean using any abrasive materials.
- Do not use this popcorn bowl without popcorn kernels and lid.
- Bowl is dishwasher safe . Lid is hand-wash only.
- Allow to cool before cleaning the bowl and lid.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

NOTE:
- Cook times are estimates. May take more or less time depending on the wattage of the microwave being used. All times are based on using “High” setting on the microwave.
- Do not use the microwave popcorn function, as this function was designed for pre-packaged microwave popcorn bags.
- Do not exceed 5 minutes’ popping time, as this might burn the popcorn and results in the discoloration of the inside surface of the bowl.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR POPPING CORN
- Fully extend the bowl with every use regardless of the batch size you are popping. Put recommended amount of kernels into the bowl. Do not add more kernels than the maximum amount recommended. Spread corn evenly over the bottom of the bowl.
- Place plastic lid on popping bowl. Microwave based on quantity of kernels being popped.
- Popcorn is now ready for serving. Sprinkle popcorn with salt or follow the enclosed recipes if desired.
- For consecutive batches, wipe popping bowl with clean cloth prior to each new batch.
- Place bowl on counter, hold handles and push down to collapse bowl for easy storage.
POPPING ADDITIONAL BATCHES OF POPCORN
If you plan to pop multiple batches, transfer popcorn from popping bowl to another serving bowl . Follow steps 1 through 4 .
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Clean the popcorn bowl after every use. Always allow bowl to cool before cleaning.
- Popcorn bowl is dishwasher safe.
- Lid is hand-wash only.
- Do not clean using abrasive materials.
RECIPES
Cinnamon-Sugar Popcorn
This classic combination of butter paired with cinnamon sugar makes a delicious popcorn treat!
Makes about 10 cups (2 .36 L)
1/3 cup (79 ml) popcorn kernels
3 tablespoons (45 ml) unsalted butter
2 tablespoons (30 ml) granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) ground cinnamon (add an extra pinch if you are a big
cinnamon lover!) Pinch kosher salt
- Put the kernels into the popping bowl; cover with lid. Microwave for 4 minutes on High (Note: Some microwaves have different wattages, so this may take more or less time depending on the microwave being used).
- While the corn is popping, melt the butter in a small skillet over medium-low heat. Remove from heat; reserve. Stir the sugar, cinnamon and salt together; reserve.
- Once the popcorn is ready, remove lid, drizzle butter over the popped corn and then sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar. Cover and toss to combine, or stir together with a heatproof spatula until fully coated. Serve immediately.

Parmesan Popcorn
Parmesan gives this popcorn a great cheesy and tangy flavor.
Makes about 10 cups (2 .36 L)
1/3 cup (79 ml) popcorn kernels
2 tablespoons (30 ml) extra virgin olive oil
1/3 to 1/2 cup (79-118 ml) grated Parmesan Pinch kosher salt
- Put the kernels into the popping bowl; cover with lid. Microwave for 4 minutes on High (Note: Some microwaves have different wattages, so this may take more or less time depending on the microwave being used).
- Once the popcorn is ready, remove the lid and drizzle the oil over the popped corn. Sprinkle with the Parmesan and salt. Cover and toss to combine, or stir together with a heatproof spatula until fully coated. Serve immediately.

Southwestern Popcorn
All of your favourite Southwest flavours make for a delicious treat when paired with popcorn. Throw in some toasted pepitas for extra crunch!
Makes about 10 cups (2 .36 L)
1/3 cup (79 ml) popcorn kernels
3 tablespoons (45 ml) grapeseed oil
1 teaspoon (5 ml) chili powder
1 teaspoon (5 ml) paprika
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) granulated garlic
1/8 teaspoon (0.5 ml) cayenne pepper
- Put the kernels into the popping bowl; cover with lid. Microwave for 4 minutes on High (Note: Some microwaves have different wattages, so this may take more or less time depending on the microwave being used).
- While the corn is popping, stir the spices and salt together; reserve. Once the popcorn is ready, remove the lid and drizzle the oil over the popped corn . Sprinkle with the combined spices and salt. Cover and toss to combine, or stir together with a heatproof spatula until fully coated. Serve immediately.
