Product Information

The Mortise Cylinder Key Switches with LED are designed to provide backup access control for electronic locks. These switches can be used to switch between normally closed (N.C.) and normally open (N.O.) contacts, forcing the door to open when a keypad or proximity card reader fails to activate the lock. The switches are available in two models: SD-72231-6MQ and SD-72281-6MQ, both of which have the same appearance.

The key features of the Mortise Cylinder Key Switches with LED include:

  • Keyed mortise cylinder with 2 keys included

  • Red (standby) and green (triggered) LEDs
  • Flush mount design with vandal-resistant security screws
  • Chrome-plated aluminum back plate that fits single-gang back box
  • Stainless steel front cover that conceals mounting screws
  • DPDT switch type with a contact rating of 25A@24VAC
  • Color-coded wires for easy wiring
