Product Information
The TDP43HET, TDP43HET/E, TDP46HET, and TDP46HET/E are printers designed by Panduit Corp. The printers come with a touch screen user interface, making it easy to operate and navigate through various functions and settings. The printer is equipped with a media view window, allowing users to monitor the printing process and check the status of the media. The lower front cover provides access to the internal components of the printer for maintenance and troubleshooting purposes.
Note: This printer is specifically configured for USB Plug and Play installation. For detailed instructions on other installation methods, please refer to the enclosed User Manual.
Product Usage Instructions
- Unpack the printer and ensure all the necessary components are included.
- Connect the printer to a power source using the provided power cord.
- If using USB Plug and Play installation:
- Connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable.
- Wait for the computer to detect and install the necessary drivers.
- If using other installation methods:
- Refer to the enclosed User Manual for detailed instructions on alternative installation methods such as network or wireless setup.
- Once the printer is connected and installed, power it on using the power button located on the printer.
- Follow the instructions on the touch screen user interface to configure printer settings such as language, paper size, and print quality.
- Load the desired media into the printer’s media tray or holder, ensuring it is properly aligned and secured.
- Access the print options on the touch screen user interface to select the desired print job and adjust any additional settings if necessary.
- Press the print button on the touch screen user interface to start the printing process.
- Monitor the printing progress through the media view window and make sure to retrieve the printed output once the process is complete.
Printer Overview
Loading the Media
- Move the label roll guard horizontally to the end of label spindio then to down the label rol gudro
- Place the roll of media on the label supply spindle. Flip up the label roll guard. Move the label roll guard horizontally to gently fit the width of
- Pull label roll leading edge forward through the media guide bar, damper, media sensor and place the label leading edge onto the platen roller.
- Adjust the gap sensor and place arrows over media gaos
- Slide the media lock to the edge of the media being used.
Note: Re-calibrate the gap sensors when changing media. The sensor location is marked by a tangle mark o at te sensor mousing.lease make sure the gap is at the location where media gap will pass through for sensing.
Media Sensor Calibration
This utility is used to calibrate the sensitivity of the media sensor. The
media sensor should be calibrated whenever

Please follow the stens helow to calbrate the media sensor
- Make sure the nobon and aos media are installed oroperiv as
- stateo in previous sections of this document.
- Select the calibration button on the bottom right hand section
- Selent OK

Loading the Ribbon
- Open the printer right side cover. Slide the ribbon onto the ribbon
- Thread the ribbon through the ribbon sensor slot and then through the open
- Close the print head mechanism. supply spindle. space in between print head and platen. Push down until you hear dick* Wrap the ribbon onto the ribbon rewind and the print head is engaged. spindle counter clockwise about 3 to 5 circles until smooth.
Loading Path For Ribbon
Remove Used Ribbon
- Break the ribbon between ribbon guide plate and the ribbon rewind
- Push the ribbon release button to spindle. release the ribbon on the ribbon rewind spindle and remove ribbon.
