Product Usage Instructions
To use the MDR-100 Single Output Industrial DIN Rail Power Supply, please follow these instructions:

Install the DIN rail TS35/7.5 or TS35/15 according to the mechanical specifications provided.

Connect the input power supply to the I/P and RECTIFIERS terminals.

Make sure that the DC voltage output terminals (+V, -V) are properly connected to your device.

Adjust the voltage output within the specified range (12V to 15V) using the +V ADJ terminal.

Ensure that the load does not exceed the rated current for your specific model (7.5A for MDR-100-12, 4A for MDR-100-24, 2A for MDR-100-48).

Check the output ripple and noise, which should not exceed 120mVp-p.

Monitor the line regulation and load regulation to ensure they are within the specified limits.

Allow the power supply to reach its setup/rise time of 3000ms at 230VAC or 115VAC at full load.

Ensure that the hold up time is sufficient for your application
(50ms/230VAC or 20ms/115VAC at full load). -
Check the voltage range compatibility (85VAC to 264VAC, 120VDC to 370VDC) and frequency range (47Hz to 63Hz).

Verify the power factor, which should be approximately PF0.95/230VAC or PF0.98/115VAC at full load.

Monitor the efficiency, which is 83% for MDR-100-12, 86% for MDR-100-24, and 87% for MDR-100-48.

Take note of the AC current and inrush current values for your reference.

Ensure that the leakage current is within the specified range (100M Ohms / 500VDC / 25/70% RH).

- All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25°C of ambient temperature.
- Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12″ twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0. 1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- Tolerance: includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- The power supply is considered a component which will be installed into a final equipment. The final equipment must be re-confirmed that it still meets EMC directives. - Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the power supply may lead to increase of the set up time.
