Product Information: LED TUBE T5 HF SHORT

The LED TUBE T5 HF SHORT is a replacement for T5 fluorescent lamps with G5 bi- pin bases. It is suitable for use in luminaires operating on electronic control gear (HF). The lamp is compatible with high frequency operation.

Product Usage Instructions:

1. Ensure that the LED TUBE T5 HF SHORT is used only with compatible electronic control gears (ECGs) listed at https://www.ledvance.com/professional/services/led-lamps-compatibility/.
   Using incompatible ECGs may result in product malfunction or damage.

2. Check the operating temperature range of the LED TUBE T5 HF SHORT. If you are unsure about its suitability for your application, measure the maximum temperature (Tc max) and ensure it
   falls within the specified range.

3. Install the LED TUBE T5 HF SHORT as a replacement into luminaires with electronic control gear (HF) and compatible sockets.

4. Ensure that the LED TUBE T5 HF SHORT is used in dry conditions or in a luminaire that provides protection.

5. Do not attempt to dim the LED TUBE T5 HF SHORT. Dimming is not allowed.

6. Note that the LED TUBE T5 HF SHORT is not suitable for emergency operation.

GB LED TUBE T5 HF SHORT is suitable as replacement for T5 fluorescent lamps with G5 bi-pin bases. LED TUBE T5 HF SHORT can be fitted as a replacement into luminaires operating on electronic control gear (HF).

1. The operating temperature range of LED TUBE T5 HF SHORT is restricted. In case of doubt regarding suitability of the application please measure Tc max temperature on the product. In case of multi lamp luminaire application measure Tc max temperature of all installed lamps. Please use a flexible thermos sensor (e.g. “Type K”)
2. LED TUBE T5 HF SHORT operated above Tc max can lead to premature aging and failure of devices.
3. LED TUBE T5 HF SHORT emits light only with a limited beam angle, not like a fluorescent tube with 360° output.
4. LED TUBE T5 HF SHORT is designed for general lighting application (excluding for example explosive atmosphere).
