AXFD-PTT Vehicle Fit
FORD SYNC BYPASS HARNESS FOR 2010-2014
(Vehicles equipped with 4-inch screen and SYNC is not being retained)
SYNC BYPASS HARNESS
- Provides the connection for your Push to Talk (PTT) button on the steering wheel.
- Retains the PTT button on the steering wheel for aftermarket radios.

TOOLS & INSTALLATION ACCESSORIES REQUIRED

Crimping tool and connectors

Solder gun, solder, and heat shrink

Wire cutter

Zip-ties
CONNECTIONS
WHEN USING THE THE AXSWC:
- Connect the Gray/Red to the Gray/Red of the AXFD-PTT.
(FOR PROGRAMING REFER TO THE AXSWC instructions)
WHEN USING A TURBO/TACTILE KIT:
-
From the 24 pin connector, cut the Yellow/Red wire in half and tape off the half going to the 24 pin.
(See Tape off image below) -
Connect the other half of the Yellow/Red wire to the Gray/Red wire of the AXFD-PTT.
(See To Gray/Red wire image below) -
Once your connections are spliced you can now reconnect your interface and wait until the screen reads SWC Configured, and then test your aftermarket radio for proper operation.

- 2010-2012 FLEX: UNDER CENTER CONSOLE (ARMREST COMPARTMENT)
- 2007-2010 EDGE: BEHIND GLOVEBOX
- 2010-2014 MUSTANG: BEHIND GLOVEBOX (Refer to image below)
- 2011-2014 EXPEDITION: UNDER CENTER CONSOLE (ARMREST COMPARTMENT)
