Quick
Flash
Short press the NODE” button until the display shows ‘Quick”, then short press
the NISI” or”-1ST button to switch between Fl to F9,, FP flash (Fl 1/1000S -F9
1/9000S, FP 1/100005).
S1 Optical Control Mode
The Si and S2 slave control function will work in all flash modes. Long press
the “+/SL” button for 2 seconds until the display shows the ‘S1’ symbol. In Si
mode, the strobe light works as a slave flash unit for multiple lighting
effects. Suitable for manual flash, it will be synchronized to trigger with
the first flash of the master unit, working in the same way as a wireless
trigger. S2
Optical Control Mode Long press the ” —/S2″ button for 2 seconds until the
display shows the “S2′ symbol. In S2 mode, the strobe light acts a slave flash
unit. Suitable for TTL and flashes that feature preflash, it will trigger to
flash in sync with the second flash of the master unit. Test Flash
Short press the” ” button to fire a test flash to ensure the strobe flash if
operating correctly. Adjustable from Fl to F9, FP (Fl 1/1000549 1/9000S, FP
1/100005)Stroboscopic Flash (Multi)
In this mode, the speed! ite fires a series of rapid flashes. It is capable of
capturing multiples images of a moving subject in a single photograph.
Settings like flash frequency (number of flashes per sec, showed as Hz), flash
times, and flash output can be changed according to your preference. The
strobe will fire multiple flashes during one exposure (20 times multi flashes,
1-20Hz frequency). Short press the “MODE’ button until the display shows the
“Multi’ symbol, then press the “SET’ button. The number “I” will flash on the
d isplay screen. Short press the “+/S1” or the a-5r button to change flash
times and frequency.Manual Flash (M)
Short press the “MODE” button until the display shows “M”, then short press
the “+/S1” or the “—/S2” button to adjust flash output (flash output range:
1/64-1/1).Buzz
Alert Long press the ” button for 2 seconds to activate or disable the audible
buzz alert. After the strobe fires flashes at full power, the “ ” symbol will
be highlighted to indicate that the flash is recycling. When fully recycled,
an audible buzz alert will be heard to indicate that the flash is ready to
trigger.Modelling
Lamp
Long press the “MODE/Q” button for 2 seconds to turn the modelling lamp
on/off. . The modelling lamp will automatically turn off after 60 seconds.
Simply long press the “MODE/Q” button for 2 seconds to turn it back
on.Channel
Short press the “GR/CH” button to highlight channel. Then press the ” +/Sr or
the “—/S2” button to change channel number.
2.4G Wireless Transmission
Short press the “GR/CH” (Group/Channel) button until the display shows a
flashing number “1” . Short press the “+/S1″ or the “—/S2” button to change
the channel number (the strobe features a built-in 2.4G receiver).
The trigger code symbols matching each strobe channel are shown below:

On the wireless trigger, the squares above from left to right correspond to 1,2.3,4.
Installing the Strobe Light
- Angle Adjustment Knob
- Umbrella Securing Knob
- Stand Securing Knob
Place the support bracket base on the 3 top of stand, then rotate the Stand
Securing Knob clockwise until it is securely attached.
Insert your umbrella through the imbrella bracket hole and turn the 2 Umbrella
Securing Knob :lockwise to grip.
Loosen the 1 Angle Adjustment Knob to adjust the strobe light to the required
angle, then tighten the knob to fix in position.
The umbrella mentioned bove is used merely for illustration purpose and
requires a separate purchase. Pull back the Reflector Cover latch, then rotate
the reflector cover counterclockwise until the tabs aligns with the gaps to
remove reflector cover. Unhook the spring and remove the steel wire around the
flash tube. Gently wiggle the flash tube by holding its two ends and slowly
pull outwards. Remove the new flash tube from its packaging.
Please make sure the power is switched off and wear insulated gloves before
replacing the modeling lamp and flash tube. Insert the two prongs of the flash
tube into the socket holes. Tie the steel wire around the flash tube. Secure
the flash tube by reattaching the spring. Pull back the Reflector Cover latch
and rotate the reflector cover clockwise at the same time. Release the latch
to secure.
When removing the spring and the steel wire, please use tweezers to avoid a
hand injury.
Caution
- The flash must never be pointed and triggered at moving vehicles which could lead to traffic accidents.
- The strobe should not be disassembled of modified to avoid product damage or personal injury. This will also invalidate any warranty claim.
- Please keep the strobe out of the reach of children
- When using the strobe, please refrain from touching parts which may get hot with bare hands to avoid bums.
- When connected to a power source, do not touch the strobe with wet hands.
- After firing 30 consecutive flashes at full power, please allow the strobe to cool for 3 minutes. Failure to do so will damage the strobe.
- When attached to filters or other inflammable accessories, please do not keep the modelling lamp on for more than 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, please allow to cool for 1 minute before turning it back on.
- The flash tube and modeling lamp are fragile components and must Not be subjected to strong impact.
- When connected to a snoot, please avoid keeping the modelling lamp on for too long of overusing multi flashes (no more than 6 times/minute at full power), as the accumutated heat could damage the flash casing or the modelling lamp.
- To change modelling bulb or flash tube, please be sure to wear insulating gloves to avoid damage.
- Please turn off the strobe when notin use.
