Product Usage Instructions
Check Polarity and Speaker Impedance
Check the correct polarity in the wiring, and avoid connecting speakers
with impedance lower than that indicated in the amplifier used.
Underpowering vs. Overpowering
Ensure that the amplifier used does not underpower or overpower the speakers.
Speaker Installation
Check that the structure on which the speaker is installed is reliable and
firmly anchor the speaker to it. Do not place the speakers on moving surfaces.
Do not touch or bump into the woofer and tweeter to avoid sound distortion.
Speaker Cable Installation
Depending on the type of installation, speaker cables from the amplifier
can be buried directly. However, it is recommended to use a 25-40mm ID duct to
protect the cables from possible physical damage if future interventions or
changes are planned in the installation area.
LED Light Module
The ZEN510/510T, ZEN930/930T, ZEN980/980A models are provided with a white
LED light module with a specific connection. The LED light must be powered by
an external 12V DC power supply or by a LED driver/dimmer LED at 12V DC.
70/100V Connection
The total number of speakers multiplied by the nominal value of the
transformer may not exceed the output power (in watts) of the amplifier at
70V/100V. For example, if there are 5 speakers with a nominal power of 50W
each, an amplifier of at least 250W (5 x 50) is required. It is recommended to
use an amplifier with a power greater than 20% to avoid saturating the power.
In this case, an amplifier that delivers about 300W is recommended.

WARNING
- Check that the structure on which the speaker is installed is reliable and that the speaker is fi rmly anchored to it.
- Do not place the speakers on moving surfaces.
- Do not touch or bump into the woofer and tweeter. If the latter are damaged, the sound will be distorted.
CONNECTION
Depending on the type of installation, speaker cables from the amplifier can
be buried directly, however the use of a 25-40mm ID duct may be required to
protect the cables from possible physical damage if future interventions or
changes are planned in the installation area (recommended).
Recommendations:
- Solder the wires together and use a waterproof heat shrink sheath to seal.
- Use watertight connectors.
- Make connections with water-resistant crimp joints.
- Use watertight muffle joints available at electrical equipment dealers.
EXAMPLE 70/100V CONNECTION
The total number of speakers multiplied by the nominal value of the
transformer may not exceed the output power (in watts) of the amplifi er at
70V/100V. The example below shows 5 total speakers of 50W nominal each, you
will need an amplifi er of at least 250W (5) x (50). We recommend not
saturating the power of the amplifi er but using an amplifi er with a power
greater than 20%; in this case, an amplifi er that delivers about 300W.
EXAMPLE OF 8Ω SYSTEM CONNECTION
- Check the correct polarity in the wiring, and avoid connecting speakers with impedance lower than that indicated in the amplifier used.
UNDERPOWERING VS. OVERPOWERING
- Most speaker damage is caused by amplifiers with too little power (wattage).
- An overdriven amplifier clips the waveforms and sends distortion to the speakers.
- Clipping is usually audible; it may vary from a harsh sound to a fuzzy or unclear sound.
- If you hear this condition at loud volume levels, turn down the volume until the distortion is no longer present.
- Damage caused by operating the speakers at distorted volume levels is not covered by the warranty.
