Product Usage Instructions

  1. Connect the AC/DC power adapter to the DC Anschlussbuchse (DC connection socket) located at the back of the device.
  2. Mount the CO2 Air Quality Monitor on a wall using the provided wall mounting screws.
  3. Press the MODE button to set the carbon dioxide concentration alarm value. Use the Increase and Decrease buttons to adjust the alarm value as desired
  4. The graphical display on the front of the device shows the current CO2 level. The display will indicate whether the air quality is Poor (1200-9999PPM), Good (600-1100PPM), or Excellent (0-500PPM).
  5. The PPM Value displayed on the front of the device represents the concentration of carbon dioxide in the ambient air, measured in parts per million.
  6. Use the MODE button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.

CO² LEVEL

CO² level Status Description
250 – 350ppm Outside Normal outdoor air level.
350–1000ppm Well ventilated, Ideal Typical level indoors with good

ventilation. 1000 ppm = Recommended maximum level in a closed room. Con- sidered maximum comfort level in many countries.
1000–1200ppm| Under ventilated| Poor air quality – requires ventilation. General drowsiness, discomfort and odors.
1200–2000ppm| Very under ventilated| Fatigue and sleepiness may set in. Intensify ventilation measures!
2000–5000ppm| Very poorly ventilated| Danger! You may experience severe headaches, vomit- ing/nausea, and dizziness within 20 minutes.
above 5000ppm| Totally unacceptable| Danger! Headache and dizziness in 5 to 10 minutes. Increased risk for health damage by prolonged exposure.

WALL MOUNT
Use the wall plugs and wall mounting screws to attach the device to your wall in horizontal or vertical position.

CHARGING / START-UP
Insert the DC connector into the connection socket (8) of the device. Insert the mains plug into the power outlet. The device is energized directly and begins preheating. The LCD displays a countdown of 7 sec-onds. The buttons are not operational during this time. Once the countdown is finished the device enters the normal measurement state.

SETTINGS MODE
Press the MODE button to enter the carbon dioxide alarm settings mode. Press or to choose the PPM value when the alarm should start. Press the MODE button to confirm and exit the settings mode. The default alarm value is 1200 PPM.

CARBON DIOXIDE ALARM
Press the Alarm button to activate or deactivate the carbon dioxide alarm. When you hear a small beep sound, then the alarm is activated. The alarm will sound once the concentration of carbon dioxide reach-es the alarm value. Press the alarm button again during an active alarm to deactivate the alarm sound.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning the device, disconnect it from the power supply (disconnect power adapter)! Only use a dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. To avoid damaging the electronics, do not use any cleaning fluid.

DISPOSAL

  • Dispose of the packaging materials properly, according to their type, such as paper or cardboard. Contact your local waste-disposal service or environmental authority for information on the proper disposal.
  • Do not dispose of electronic devices in the household garbage! As per Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its adaptation into German law, used electronic devices must be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.
