Product Information
The Whirlpool Corporation Laundry Warranty provides coverage for major appliances used in normal, single-family household use as per the published user or operator instructions and installation instructions. The warranty does not cover replacement parts or repair labor for appliances used outside of their intended use or in a manner inconsistent with the provided instructions. It also excludes service calls related to installation, user instruction, house fuses, house wiring or plumbing, as well as repairs or replacements of light bulbs, air filters, or water filters.
The warranty does not cover damages caused by accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, fire, flood, acts of God, improper installation, installation not in accordance with electrical or plumbing codes, or use of non-approved products. Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, chips, or any other damage to the appliance’s finish is not covered unless it results from defects in materials or workmanship and is reported within 30 days of purchase.
Pick up and delivery services are not covered by the warranty. Unauthorized modifications to the appliance that result in repairs to parts or systems are excluded. Travel and transportation expenses for product service in remote areas where authorized service is unavailable are not covered. The removal and reinstallation of the appliance in inaccessible locations or installations not in accordance with Whirlpool’s published instructions are also excluded. Replacement parts or repair labor for appliances with altered or removed model/serial numbers are not covered. In such cases, the customer is responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.
Whirlpool makes no representations about the quality, durability, or need for service or repair of the appliance beyond what is stated in this warranty. Customers seeking a longer or more comprehensive warranty should inquire about purchasing an extended warranty from Whirlpool or their retailer. Customers outside the 50 United States and Canada should contact their authorized Whirlpool, Amana, Admiral, Estate, Inglis, or Roper dealer to determine applicable warranties.
