JLL Fitness Treadmill Belt Adjustments

This user manual provides instructions for adjusting the treadmill belt on your JLL Fitness treadmill. It contains information on belt tightening and belt alignment. Please note that this manual is copyrighted by JLL Fitness Ltd and unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.
Belt Tightening
Tools: You will need the allen key from your tool pack.
- Start by turning off the power supply to the treadmill.
- Using the allen key, turn the bolts at the end of the treadmill deck a quarter each time to the right.
- To keep the belt aligned, repeat the same amount of turns on each side.
- Tighten the belt a quarter at a time to prevent over-stretching.
- Once tightened, test the belt again following the same process.
Belt Alignment
The gap between the belt and the frame should be 5-6mm. If it’s not, follow
these steps:
- Start by setting the speed of the treadmill to 2-3 km/h.
- Using the allen key, adjust the same bolts at the end of the deck as before.
- If the belt is aligned to the left, adjust the left bolt clockwise or adjust the right bolt counter-clockwise. Vice versa if the belt is aligned to the right.
- Leave your machine running at approximately 6 km/h for a few minutes to ensure the belt stays in line.

BELT TIGHTENING
When running on your treadmill you may feel a slipping sensation indicating your belt is not tight enough. To test if your belt is loose you can:
- Stand with your feet on either side of the treadmill
- Set the speed to 1-2 km/h
- Try to stop the belt with your foot while holding onto the handrails
Please follow the steps below for how to tighten your running belt:

Start by turning off the power supply to the treadmill. -
STEP 2
- Using your allen key turn the bolts at the end of the treadmill deck a quarter each time to the right.
- To keep the belt aligned repeat the same amount of turns on each side.
- Tighten the belt a quarter at a time to prevent over-stretching the belt.
- Once tightened, test the belt again following the same process described
