Product Usage Instructions
To ensure the reliable and smooth operation of your BlueEvolution XL+ TS steam cleaner, it is recommended to change the O-rings approximately every 6 months. Refer to Section 3 (Service/Maintenance) in the user manual for detailed instructions.
Assembly:
Follow the instructions in the user manual to assemble the collection tank,
handle, and toolbox.
Quick Start:
Steam:
- Fill the steam cleaner with clear water.
- Select the desired steam power level (Low, Medium, or High) on the console.
- Adjust the hot water inflow using the control valve for the desired soaking effect.
- Wait for the steam cleaner to heat up.
- Start cleaning by directing the steam towards the surface to be cleaned.
Extraction:
- Connect the extraction hose to the steam cleaner.
- Position the extraction tool at the desired cleaning area.
- Turn on the extraction function using the console controls.
- Move the extraction tool over the surface to extract dirt and moisture.
Vacuum:
- Attach the vacuum hose to the steam cleaner.
- Select the desired vacuum power level (Low, Medium, or High) on the console.
- Direct the vacuum nozzle towards the area to be cleaned.
- Move the vacuum nozzle over the surface to collect dirt and debris.
Maintenance:
Regular maintenance is essential for optimal performance. Refer to the user

The BlueEvolution impresses thanks to its ease of use, sophisticated technology and diverse range of applications. It sets new standards in terms of hygiene and cleaning, makes the job much easier and saves time, drastically reduces the use of harmful cleaning agents that are bad for the environment, and ensures perfect cleanliness and a healthy feel-good ambience. -
Purpose of use
The BlueEvolution can be used for thorough cleaning of surfaces and objects and to clear unpleasant odours from the air indoors.
Safety instructions
Safety warnings for the UV-C lamp UV
- Warning! This appliance contains a UV emitter. Do not look directly into the source of light.
- Warning! Do not switch on the UV light if it is outside the appliance’s protective
housing. The appliance may emit harmful UV-C radiation if not used properly. Even small doses of UV-C radiation may cause damage to eyes and skin. Users are NOT permitted to replace the UV-C lamp.
Warnings
- The appliance may only be operated by people who are familiar with its use. Remember that the steam jet may cause damage if used incorrectly.
- The appliance must not be used by children. Children do not understand the risks that may arise when dealing with electrical equipment and, therefore, children must never be left unattended with such equipment.
- Never use a faulty appliance or an appliance with a damaged power cable.
- Do not put cleaning agents, perfume or other chemical substances into the tank.
- Warning! Do not suction flammable or explosive substances or hot ash!
- Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. Never spray the appliance with water.
- Never touch the steam jet. Risk of burning!
- Never aim the steam jet at people or animals. Nor at electrical sockets, connections or equipment. Risk of burning!
- Do not use the appliance if other people are present in the working area.
- Refrain from any unsafe working methods.
- Do not use the steam jet for direct cleaning of electronic equipment (e.g. computers, televisions, telephones etc.).
- • Before cleaning ovens, fridges etc. always disconnect the power first to ensure these are switched off. You must follow the manufacturers’ specific instruc-tions.
• Warning! The appliance may not be used to clean items that contain asbestos or other harmful substances.
• Caution! In the following instances steam may not be used or may only be used with the greatest care: on objects made from leather, Alcantara, velours or other sensitive materials, on waxed or painted surfaces, polished wood sur- faces and for direct contact with bonding agents or silicone. Please always follow the manufacturer’s instructions. For sensitive materials carry out a test first on a sample or on an inconspicuous, concealed area. Always start on the lowest setting. Pre-heat windows or other glass surfaces with a low steam setting from a distance of approx. 30 cm and clean in combination with suc- tion.
Precautionary measures
- Operation of the appliance is subject to national regulations.
- Always ensure the appliance is in proper working order before starting up.
- Perform regular checks on the power cable, plug and steam suction hose for damage or signs of wear.
- Do not start the appliance if the steam suction hose or power cable are da-maged.
- Place the appliance on a stable and level surface. Never place it on warm or hot surfaces. Choose somewhere that is not accessible to children or pets.
- Do not position the appliance in direct proximity to heat sources (fires, heaters or other heat-emitting objects).
- Position the appliance somewhere with good air circulation to prevent over-heating.
- Never expose the appliance to the weather (rain, snow, frost etc.).
- Never touch the appliance, plug or electrical cables with wet hands or feet.
- Do not bend, squeeze or run over the steam suction hose.
- Never pull on the power cable or on the appliance itself when disconnecting the mains plug.
- Protect the power cable from heat sources, steam and oil, and from damage by avoiding pulling, squeezing or running over the cable.
- Never leave the appliance unattended when it is connected to the mains.
- To prevent unauthorized use of the appliance, ensure all switches are off and the power is disconnected during breaks.
- Always disconnect from the mains before cleaning and maintenance work.
- Only perform maintenance work that is described in the User Manual. Only use original spare parts and accessories.
- Do not undertake any technical modifications on the appliance.
- Never repair or open the appliance yourself. Repairs may only be performed by authorised personnel.
- Take the appropriate precautions when using acidic descaling agents. Protect sensitive surfaces, especially natural stone and wood, from spray and droplets.
- Some drops of condensation may form at the start of steam cleaning – wipe these up with a cloth.
INFO: To minimise the occurrence of condensation (caused when the steam hose and attachments are not at operating temperature) it is recom- mended that you allow the steam to flow for a few seconds on the maximum setting before starting the cleaning work. This ensures the steam hose and attachments heat up more quickly.

Assembly / preparation
Assembly of the driving handle and accessories box
Attach the handle using the two fixing knobs. Tighten them by turning
clockwise.
Engage the two locking levers so the handle is secured properly.

- Open the cap O and fill the water tank with normal tap water using the funnel.
- Re-close the tank cap.
- Fill the tank P for the hot water module, likewise with normal tap water. If your water is particularly hard, you may also use distilled water mixed with tap water in this tank.
- Re-close the tank cap. You can check the fill level of the tanks using the volume indicator on both sides of the appliance.
Assembly / preparation
Filling the filter bowl
Your appliance is fitted with a hygienic water filter. You must fill the filter
bowl with water before starting, in order to bind the extracted dirt in the
water and to clean the suctioned air in the water bath as well.
- Loosen the clips on the filter bowl and pull out of its slot.
- Open the cover on the filter bowl by pushing off the relevant clips.
- Fill with tap water up to the green line (approx. 2.0 litres).
- Re-close the cover on the filter bowl. Insert the filter bowl, ensuring it is in the correct position.
WARNING:
Insert the filter bowl correctly on the bottom rails to make sure the fill level
sensor is properly engaged.
The filter bowl is equipped with fill level sensors. Suction stops automatically
once the maximum fill level is reached and “E04” error will appear on the
display.
INFO:
If you only wish to suction liquid, such as accidental water spills, it is not
necessary to fill the appliance’s filter bowl with water.
When sucking liquids, the MAX. capacity in the container is approx. 4 litres.
Inserting the steam suction hose
- Insert the connector of the steam suction hose into the socket until you hear the click of the safety hook.
- To remove the hose from the appliance, press release but-ton A and pull on the connector
The following combined functions are possible depending on the application area:
- Steam cleaning
- Steam cleaning with hot water
- Suction
- Suction and steam cleaning (steam suction)
- Suction and steam cleaning with hot water function
Start-up steam
Insert the mains plug into the wall socket. Turn the general switch 8 to ON,
the display will light up showing the menu and will remain in stand-by waiting for a function to be selected by the user, differently, the display will switch to energy saving after 60 seconds (Standby).
If the machine was in Standby status press the start icon.
Press the “STEAM” icon to start the boiler. During the heating stage, it is
possible to display the temperature and pressure which gradually raise up to
the operating condi-tions.
During this stage, the “STEAM” icon will blink and the dis-play status will
show “HEATING”.
Steam Function End
Press the “STANDBY” icon to stop the appliance.
The display will show the “STANDBY” icon.
Steam Function
Press and hold the steam button P on the handle to de-liver steam. You can
adjust the steam function by pressing the T2- or T2+ buttons on the side of
the handle.
There are 3 steam modes to choose from:
- Mode 1 = Minimum steam flow, for use on sensitive sur-faces such as wood, parquet floors, upholstery, etc.
- Mode 2 = Medium steam flow, for use on windows, glass, tiles, stones, etc.
- Mode 3 = Maximum steam flow, to be used on all surfaces that were previously treated with detergents and/or water such as tiles, granite, stainless steel etc.
The selected mode is shown on the display by the notches inside the “STEAM” icon.
WARNING:
Water droplets may occur on first use, which may be due to incomplete heat
stabilization in the housing. For this reason, we recommend aiming the first
steam jet at a cloth until an even flow of steam is achieved.
INFO:
For sensitive materials carry out a test first on a sample or on an
inconspicuous, concealed area. Always start with mode 1 (minimal steam
volume).
Start-up steam with hot water module
The soaking effect and, thus, cleaning performance can be increased for heavy soiling by switching the hot water module to steam.

Do not use on sensitive surfaces or materials.
Switching on “hot water module”
Pressing button T4 on the handle for the hot water module switches the
function on and symbol N on the display stays illuminated.
Always use button T4 on the handle to switch the hot water module on and off.
The “hot water module” flow-through can be adjusted, by pressing the button C in three steps. This is displayed by notches marked with 1-2-3 inside the “WATER” icon.
Start-up suction
Suction
Press the “VACUUM” icon on the display or the button T3 for activating or
deactivating the suction.
Keep the “VACUUM” icon pressed to switch between the three suction flows:
MINIMUM-MEDIUM-MAXIMUM (the flow is displayed by notches marked with 1-2-3
inside the “MOTOR” icon).
Briefly press the T5- or T5+ button on the side to change the suction power.
Briefly press the T3 button to turn off the suction function again.

As there is liquid in the hose and in the extension pipes du-ring suction
operation, the sucker should not disconnected immediately after cleaning
finishes.
A short delay (approx. 30 seconds) is required.
Reports
Maximum fill level in the filter bowl
If the suctioned dirt in the filter bowl reaches the maximum level, the fill
level sensors ensure that suction stops automa-tically.
To continue with cleaning work:
- Remove the filter bowl, empty and fill with tap water up to the MAX. level indicated, using the integrated siphon within the filter bowl (approx. 2.0 litres)
- Re-insert the filter bowl, ensuring it is in the correct position.
WARNING:
Regularly remove and clean the installation parts from the filter bowl in the
event of heavy soiling. Return to the correct position afterwards.
Lack of water in the tank
A lack of water in the tank is indicated by the error E01 shown on the display
and by an acoustic signal at the same time.
To resume work, follow the instructions on the display, by clicking in the
“Tap for other info” area.
Lack of water washing-extraction function
A lack of water in the tank is indicated by the error E02 shown on the display
and by an acoustic signal at the same time.
To resume work, follow the instructions on the display, by clicking in the
“Tap for other info” area.
Shutting down
To ensure the functionality, cleanliness and hygiene of the appliance and
accessories, follow this procedure to shut down the appliance:

Remove the filter bowl, empty out the water and re-insert.

Set suction mode to MIN (one notch inside the “MOTOR” icon).

a) Cleaning of steam hose and accessory parts In suction mode 1, flush approx. 2 litres of cleaning fluid with a mild alkaline cleaning solution through the used accessory parts (steam hose, extension pipes etc.) to clean them.
b) Disinfecting the steam hose and accessory parts We recommend you flush a VAH-listed, peroxide-based sur-face disinfectant through the accessory parts in suction mode 1.

Repeat the rinsing process with clear water if there is a lot of foam.
Alternatively, the steam suction hose can also be cleaned using a suitably sized sponge soaked in disinfectant. -
Empty the filter bowl, clean and re-insert without cover.

Switch off the functions you have selected by pressing the relevant buttons on the display. The appliance switches off after approx. 10 seconds. OFF is then shown on the display.

Disconnect from the mains power by pulling out the plug.
-
Pull the steam suction hose out of the appliance for it to dry out.
-
Store the appliance with open filter bowl in a well ventila-ted and frost-free room.
Extraction
Your steam vacuum uses a separate reservoir tank to inject water into the
steam as it’s released from the extraction nozzle. Use the extraction function
in combination with the vacuum for deeper cleaning on soft and hard surfaces.
- Use the extraction nozzle for cleaning furniture, curtains, mattress, windows, walls and floors
- After cleaning, use the vacuum to remove excess water for faster drying

Service / Maintenance Part 1
Hot water module descaling
Descaling the Extraction / Hot Water Tank
| Place a suitable container in front of the appliance and empty the reservoir by opening the drain plug. Then reclose the drain plug.

Up to 3 litres of water may come out if the ap- pliance is flled to the max. level. The fll level is indicated on the side of the appliance.

Descaling Solution is a mixture of 4 cups of vinegar and 4 cups of tap water.

Open the washing-extraction cap (P) and pour the mixture.
Insert the steam-suction tube into the appliance.

Now, connect the appliance to
the mains and press icon (C) on the display.
The “WATER” icon will be activated.
Press the steam trigger on the handle and pour the contents onto a basin.
Repeat the descaling procedure two to three times if you notice any residual
limescale.
Rinse t e R with Tap Water
| Pour 1 liter of tap water into the tank washing extraction. Connect the appliance to the mains and press button (C) on the display.
The unit will turn on and the display will show “COL”.
Press the steam trigger on the handle. and pour the contents on a basin.
Repeat the procedure to rinse any residual limestone.

Service / Maintenance Part 2
Boiler descaling
Descaling instructions boiler / introduction
The boiler must be descaled, at the latest, when the error E05 appears on the
display. Because the hardness of the water varies significantly depending on
the location, scheduled descaling may need to be brought forward if you notice
a significant drop in steam emission, or particles of limescale coming out of
the steam accessories.
MAKE SURE THE APPLIANCE HAS COOLED DOWN COMPLETELY
Warning: Before starting, disconnect from the main power by pulling out oft he plug.
| Place a suitable container in front of the appliance and empty the reservoir by opening the drain plug. Then reclose the drain plug (Do not screw too tight).
Up to 3 litres of water may come out if the appliance is filled to the max. level. The fill level is indicated on the side of the appliance.
| Place a suitable container under the appliance and open the drain plug by turning it to the left with the included Inbus key (label blue ring “Water Only”).
Drain the reservoir and then screw the drain plug back in and tighten slightly (Do not screw too tight).
Descaling

Descaling Solution is a mixture of 4 cups of vinegar and 4 cups of tap water.
Open the water cap (O) and pour the mixture.
| Start the machine, press the MENU » MAIN- TENANCE» STARTUP » Descaling Procedure
» OK.
If the temperature of the boiler is more than 50
°C, the washing cycle will not be carried out and the display will show the E12 error.
| If the machine is cold, the system will begin the first wash, which will last 20 minutes, and a progress bar will appear on the display.
After 20 minutes, the machine will emit a double beep, and the warning signal E13 will appear on the display; and at this point, the boiler must be drained (unscrew the drainage cap under the machine), as well as the water tank previously loaded.
WARNING: Descaler residue can be harmful to health and damage surfaces. Wipe up drops immediately. Read the information on the descaler packaging and follow the safety instructions.
The rinsing stage involves three emptying cycles.
Please proceed as follows.
Close the boiler drain plug (tighten without forcing) and fill with clean
water the refill tank (O), then press the “OK” icon.
After 20 minutes, the machine will stop and the display will notify that it is
possible to drain the boiler and the refill tank (O). When they are empty,
close both caps and refill again the tank with clean water.
Press the “OK” icon.
Wait about 9 minutes for the second rinsing cy-cle. Repeat the emptying
procedure (boiler and refill tank), close the caps again. Press the “OK” icon.
Wait 9 minutes for the third rinse cycle. Empty and put the caps back on.
Switch off the appliance by pressing the “TURN OFF” icon. Switch on again to
return to normal operation mode.
Re-assembly
Close the boiler drainage outlet (do not screw too tight), fill the reservoir with clean water and then press button A to start wor-king normally.
NOTE: If there is no water in the reservoir during the descaling programme, the machine will au-tomatically pause.To restart, fill the reservoir up to the level and press the A button.
PLEASE NOTE! When, for the first time, you turn the device on once more,
the minimum water level must be restored inside the boi-ler. Press button A on
the control panel and execute three/four full water-filling cycles to restore
normal functional conditions of the device.
N.B.!: On using the machine for the first time after this operation,
discharge some of the steam onto a rag. Discharge repeatedly so that no
descaling solution remains in the steam circuit.
The machine is now ready for use once more!
INFO: The boiler must be refilled back to the minimum fill level
following descaling.
It may be necessary to press button (A) on the display several times until
this is done.

Replacing the air fi Iter (HEPA filter) The HEPA filter should be replaced if suction power drops dramatically, but at least once per year. Proceed as follows to inspect the filter:
- Loosen the clips on the filter bowl and remove from its slot.
- Loosen the 4 fixing screws B to remove the soundproofi ng case.
Then remove the HEPA filter from the slot.
Replace the HEPA filter with the grate.
- Insert the HEPA filter into the slot. Install the soundproofing case with the 4 fixing screws B in the right position.
- Re-insert the filter bowl, ensuring it is in the correct position.
WARNING: Cleaning the filter Both reservoirs are protected from contamination by a filter. If you need to clean the filters, rinse them thoroughly with plenty of hot water and a neutral cleaning agent.
Care of accessories
It is essential to clean accessory parts after use to maintain the performance
and functionality of the appliance. Te connections on the extension pipes and
the safety handle can be sprayed with a suitable lubricant or silicone spray
as required. This will make it easier to change accessory parts. Checking the
O-rings To avoid damage to the appliance or accessories, the O-rings on the
safety handle and the extension pipes must be checked regularly for damage.
The O-rings will last longer if they are coated regularly with a lubricant/
silicone spray or a non-acidic grease.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
The steam cleaner uses 110 Volts and will pull 13.1 Amps. It should be the
only appliance plugged into an outlet.
- Use only a 12 gauge / 15AMP rated or higher extension cord
- Any alteration of electrical cord supply on this steam cleaner will void all warranties
- Make sure all switches on front of unit are in the off position before plugging unit into electrical outlet
- For circuit breaker protection, plug the unit into an outlet isolated from other equipment or turn the other equipment off while using the steam cleaner
- The combined electrical amperage of other equipment and the steam cleaner together may cause a circuit breaker to trip.
- Always press the power button to OFF before you unplug the unit
- Removing the ground prongs from the power cord will void any and all warranties and can cause risk of shock or injury

- Request RMA.
- RMA number will be emailed along with a shipping label.
- Box up your steamer and include Repair Form.
- Go to FedEx for drop off.
- DO NOT SEND IN A REPAIR WITHOUT AN RMA.
WARRANTY
Your steamer comes with a warranty which becomes effective on the date of
purchase from US STEAM and is granted to the initial customer and is
nontransferable. Any claims under this warranty must be made before the end of
the applicable warranty period.
Your steamer is warrantied for a period of 1-year from original date of
purchase for defective material, parts, and workmanship. The warranty EXCLUDES
accessories, attachments and normal wear parts, when used in accordance with
operating instructions under normal and reasonable use.
During the term of the warranty, all labor and parts to place your product in
proper operating condition will be a covered service. You have an EXTENDED
warranty covering 2 additional years for defective boiler or heating element.
Extended warranty does not include labor cost and return shipping. US STEAM’s
responsibility is limited to repair, replacement, credit or refund, any of
which may be selected by US STEAM at its sole discretion.
The limited warranty covers only defects arising from normal use and does not
include malfunctions or failures arising from: misuse, abuse, neglect,
alteration, usage not in accordance with user manual and instructions,
depletion of consumables, acts of nature, or damage caused by repairs where
such repairs were made without US STEAM’s express approval.
Warranty is Void:
- Damage due to misuse, abuse, negligence, and normal wear related to the product usage
- Any repair or attempted repairs outside of the US STEAM Service Center will void all warranties
- Lack of proper maintenance or use not in accordance with the provided instructions and/or owner’s manual
- Disassembly or attempted disassembly of your steamer
- If the steamer is designated for residential but utilized in a commercial application
- Using an improper electrical source such as using an extension cord that is not at least 12 gauge / 15AMP rated or higher extension cord
- Adding chemicals or cleaning solution to the boiler or reservoir tank
- Parts subject to wear and tear not determined defective or items such as O-rings, brushes, hoses, accessories
GOVERNING LAW, JURISDICTION AND COSTS
All disputes arising out of or related to the warranty shall be governed by
the laws of the State of Texas. In the event the customer and US STEAM® LLC
are unable to resolve any customer dispute, and any collection action, suit,
or other judicial proceeding is commenced, the prevailing party in any such
action, suit, or proceeding shall be entitled to recover any cost and attorney
fees incurred.
