Product Usage Instructions
Installation and Setup
- Choose an appropriate location for the NVR.
- Connect the NVR to a power source using the provided power cable.
- Connect the NVR to a network using the RJ-45 Ethernet ports.
- If using PoE devices, connect them to the PoE+ ports on the NVR.
- Connect a display device (monitor) to the HDMI or VGA port.
- Insert HDD(s) into the internal HDD slots as per desired storage capacity.
- Power on the NVR.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the NVR using the embedded software.
Usage and Operation
Once the NVR is set up, you can perform the following actions:
- View live video feeds from up to 8 channels on the local display or connected monitors.
- Manage and control video recordings using the embedded video management software.
- Monitor and control connected devices through the available input/output ports.
- Access network settings and manage network connectivity through the Ethernet ports.
- Control the NVR system using a mouse and keyboard.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
To ensure the proper functioning of the NVR:
- Regularly check and clean the NVR vents to prevent overheating.
- Keep the NVR in an operating temperature range of 20% to 85% RH.
- Ensure proper power supply within the input voltage range of 100 ~ 240V AC.
- Monitor the power consumption and ensure it does not exceed the specified limits.
