Product Usage Instructions
Indoor Fixtures
- Connect the positive supply wire (A) to the positive fixture lead (B) using an appropriately sized twist-on connector. Refer to Drawing 1 or 2 for more details.
- Connect the negative supply wire (C) to the negative fixture lead (D).
- Refer to the grounding instructions below to complete all electrical connections.
Outdoor Fixtures
- Connect the positive supply wire (A) to the positive fixture lead (B) using an appropriately sized twist-on connector. Refer to Drawing 2 or 3 for more details.
- Connect the negative supply wire (C) to the negative fixture lead (D).
- Cover the open end of connectors with silicone sealant to form a watertight seal. If installing a wall mount fixture, use caulk to seal gaps between the fixture mounting plate (backplate) and the wall. This will help prevent water from entering the outlet box. If
the wall surface is lap siding, use caulk and a fixture mounting platform specially designed for lap siding.
Grounding Instructions
Follow the wiring and grounding instructions provided in IS 18. It is
important to read and understand these instructions before proceeding with the
installation. If new wiring is required, it is recommended to consult a
qualified electrician or local authorities
to ensure compliance with code requirements.
Note: The above instructions are provided as an excerpt from the user
manual. Please refer to the complete user manual for detailed instructions and
safety precautions.
Assembly Instructions
start here
- Find a clear area in which you can work.
- Unpack the fixture and glass from the carton.
- Careful review instructions prior to assembly.
DRAWING 1 – ASSEMBLY
- To begin assembly take the main body (1) and rotate the arms (A) until they are equally spaced 72 degrees apart and aligned with the opposite arm. Next, rotate the bottom arms until they align with the top arm location – see Drawing 1.
- Next, determine the height of the fixture that has to be installed. This will determine the number of stems (2) that will be required. If installing over a table 32 to 35 inches above the top surface is recommended.
- Now take the stems (2) and slip the wires from the fixture through the center of the first stem, slip the stem along the wire, and thread it onto the threaded tube (B) found on the top of the main body (1).
- Slip on the next stem and thread it onto the first stem, until all stems are installed.
- Now slide the screw collar loop (3) over the stems. This may have to be removed from the large diameter threaded portion of the swivel assembly (5).
- Next slide canopy (4) over the stems (2)
- Now thread wires through the center of the swivel assembly (5) and thread the swivel assembly into the top of the last stem.
- Now follow the mounting instruction sheet (I.S.19-81) and wiring instructions (IS-18) to complete installation.
SAFETY WARNING
READ WIRING AND GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS (I.S. 18) AND ANY ADDITIONAL
DIRECTIONS. TURN THE POWER SUPPLY OFF DURING INSTALLATION. IF NEW WIRING IS
REQUIRED, CONSULT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN OR LOCAL AUTHORITIES FOR CODE
REQUIREMENTS. Make electrical connections from supply wire to fixture lead
wires. Refer to the instruction sheet (I.S. 18) and follow all instructions to
make all necessary wiring connections. Then refer back to this sheet to
complete the installation of this fixture. The bulb can now be threaded into
the socket.

DO NOT restore current – either by fuse, breaker or switch – until the new
fixture is completely wired and in place.
SAFETY WARNING: READ WIRING AND GROUNDING INSTRUCT- TIONS (I.S. 18) AND
ANY ADDITIONAL DIRECTIONS. TURN THE POWER SUPPLY OFF DURING INSTALLATION. IF
NEW WIRING IS REQUIRED, CONSULT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN OR LOCAL AUTHORITIES
