Very Important Tips

  1. To ensure proper installation of the Micro SD card and SIM card, make sure the camera is turned off before inserting them.
  2. If you need to switch to a different SIM or SD card, be sure to turn off the camera before replacing it. Once you’ve inserted the new card, restart the camera and add it through the app.
  3. Before setting up the camera, be sure to charge it fully, which usually takes 10-13 hours. Once it’s charged, install the solar panel in a location with direct sunlight, ideally for at least 3 hours per day. Avoid frequent manual charging for this camera.
  4. To avoid false alarms, keep in mind that the PIR detection distance is about 32 feet, and we recommend installing the camera at a height of about 9 feet. Also, try to avoid placing the camera near bushes, shrubs, grass, and foliage that may be within range of the PIR sensor.
  5. If you’re installing the camera on a plaster, brick, or concrete surface, you’ll need to use the provided drilling template to mark the 4 holes, then drill into the wall with a drill bit. Finally, insert expansion screws to securely hold the camera in place.

Account registration

Step 1: The device only supports 4G-LET network. Make sure the camera is fully charged.
Step 2: Open the “UBox” App then press ‘Register’. Enter your e-mail address or phone number to register.
Step 3: Insert the SIM card and SD card into the device, then press “POWER” to turn on the camera.

Note: For better using experience, please allow to open all permissions to avoid missing any notifications from App. To ensure smooth receipt of verification emails, it may be necessary to switch to a different email provider as att.net, msn.com, and hotmail.com domains have strict policies regarding unsubscribed emails.

Cloud video interface

On this page, user can choose the target date of video recording and play the videos, or choose multiple videos and download or delete the corresponding cloud videos.

This device provides one month of free cloud star age service. If you need to continue using cloud storage service after the trial period expires, you need to purchase them in the App.

    (1) Adjust your camera installation angle a bit down to focus on the motion area.
    (2) Change your PIR sensitivity to Low to reduce the PIR sensitivity.

FAQ

Q: Why can’t add my camera to the App?
A: 1) Check if the SIM card has been inserted correctly by referring to the drawing.
2) Ensure that the type of SIM card you are using is supported by the 4G security camera (AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon).
3) Confirm that your own SIM card has enough data and has not been previously used on other devices.
4) Make sure that the location where you have installed the camera has a strong 4G mobile network.
5) If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please contact customer service: support@manshur.co

Q: Why does the camera not recognise the SIM card?
A: 1) Ensure that the SIM card has been installed correctly by referring to the provided drawing.
2) Check the data plan of the prepaid SIM card, and note that activating the provided card will grant free data to new users.
3) Verify that the camera is fully charged and restart it if necessary.
4) If you are using your own SIM card, be aware that using an old Verizon SIM card may cause it to be locked. Use a new SIM card instead.
5) If none of the above steps resolve the issue, please contact customer service for further assistance.

Q: Why did the camera suddenly go offline?
A: 1) Check the prepaid SIM card to ensure that it has residual data.
If you have used the SIM card before, check the traffic usage record to confirm that it has residual data.
2) Verify that the camera is charged by charging it for at least one hour, then turn it on to check if it is online.
3) Check the 4G network signal by testing the camera in a different location if it was installed in a closed space.

Q: How to reset the camera?
A: 1) Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds.
2) Release the button when you hear ‘system reset’

Q: Why does the camera stay offline after the SIM card has been topped up?
A:1) Activate the device manually by turning it off and on or wait for 1 hour for it to activate automatically after topping up the SIM card.
2) Wait for the device to restore on line state after activation.

NOTE: For users using the SIM card provided by us, an alert will be given at the bottom right of the video when the data remaining is 200MB.

Q: If the device comes with an loT SIM card, can it be used on a mobile phone or other device?

A: The attached loT SIM card has been bound by the device, and it is forbidden to insert it into other devices for use, otherwise the loT card will be locked and cannot be used.

Q: How much data will this Manshur 4G security camera
use monthly?
A: Data usage depends on actual working conditions.
Normally, 2GB of data will be enough for a month.

Q:Does Manshur 4G LTE Camera support SG SIM card?
A: Manshur 4G LTE cameras work with SG SIM cards but only support 4G network signals. So when activating the SG SIM card, please select the 4G service.

Q: What details of SIM cards do I need to know for the 4G LTE camera?
A: SIM card only supports 4G network signal, not support 3G and SG’s signal.
US version and Europe’s device both support frequency bands:
4G: B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20.

Q: Does this 4G LTE Camera support Wi-Fi?
A: No, it does not. It is a standalone camera that does not support Wi-Fi.

Q: If the QR code on the side of the camera is damaged, can I still connect the camera?
A: Please contact us by email and we will resend the QR code to you.

Q:Can you turn off the cellular to save battery and just use SD card?
A: This 4G LTE Cellular Security Camera can record to the SD card without Internet, but you cannot access the camera via the UBox App in this case. Besides, this camera will automatically enter standby mode which will save battery life.

Q: How to top up your SIM card? (only for the SIM card included in the package)

Q: Why cannot my mobile phone receive alarms while the camera can detect persons and record videos?
A:
Check and make sure the symbol on the device list page of the App, and all the background permissions of the App have all been enabled; keep the App run on background of the mobile phone.

Q: Does it support cloud storage?
A: Yes, it does. It supports cloud storage and SD card local storage (maximum 128G)

Q: Why cannot I see videos on my mobile phone?
A: Check and make sure the micro SD card has been correctly inserted into the camera and formatted on the “Setup” page of the App. If the problem remains unchanged, have the micro SD card formatted (FAT32) on a computer or replaced with another one.
