SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

(Be sure to read carefully and follow these safety directions)

  1. Please observe the following safety precautions when using this appliance:
  2. Failure or negligence in observing these safety precautions could cause fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
  3. The user must use a qualified socket with safety certification, or it may cause a fire.
  4. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  5. Hold the plug when disconnected from the power supply, never pull the supply cord.
  6. Do not use this appliance in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own unless constant supervision is provided.
  7. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in the correct outlet. If the plug of the heater does not fit fully in the outlet, please contact a qualified electrician.
  8. Make sure the plug is fully inserted into the socket. Loose engagement of the main plug and socket may cause electric shock or fire due to overheating of the main plug.
  9. Wipe off the dust on the plug and socket periodically. Accumulation of dust on the main plug may cause poor insulation and may result in fire.
  10. Do not use the appliance when the power cord or plug is damaged. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Limited in order to avoid the hazard.
  11. If the power cord was damaged or the fan was malfunctioning, please take the appliance to Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Limited for repair, please do not dismount, repair or replace parts and accessories without authority.
  12. Do not pinch, bend, or twist the power cord excessively. The core conductors may be exposed or broken which may cause electric shock, short circuit, fire, and product damage.
  13. Fully unwind the lead each time before use. Where possible, avoid using of extension cords because the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire. Never use a single extension cord to operate more than one heater. And make sure no other appliances are plugged into the same circuit with this heater. Otherwise, a circuit overload could occur.
  14. Do not contact with water. It may cause a short circuit, product damage, fire, and electric shock.
  15. To avoid overheating, do not cover the heater and obstruct any of the heat outlet grilles or air intake openings of the heater.
  16. Please do not put any object on the appliance.
  17. Never touch the appliance with wet hands to avoid electric shock.
  18. Do not insert fingers or conductive objects into the front and back air outlets of the machine to avoid the risk of human injury, electric shock, fire, and product damage.
  19. Avoid any shocks or concussions to the appliance.
  20. Do not use the appliance outdoors, it is for indoor use only.
  21. Do not use the appliance in the sunshine.
  22. Put the power cord correctly to prevent users from tripping over the cord.
  23. Put the appliance on the flat and stable ground, and make sure that the appliance does not encounter any obstructions when using the appliance.
  24. Do not put soft objects such as hair or curtains close to the appliance to avoid getting caught in the heater when using the appliance.
  25. Do not use the appliance under the following situation: Near gaseous fuel cooker/Place full of inflammable gas/ Place expose to rain or water pour/ Near insecticide/ Oil corrosive solvent/ High temperature/ High humidity/ Near chemistry, oil, dust area
  26. Please do not pour water into the machine or hang wet clothes over the machine so as to avoid current leakage and electric shock; Please do not put flammable materials and wet clothes covered on the air outlet so as to avoid the risk of fire or electric shock.
  27. Please do not spray solvent or flammable liquid on the appliance as it may cause damage to the appliance.
  28. Do not use this appliance in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower, or a swimming pool.
  29. Do not use this appliance if it has been dropped.
  30. Please shut down the appliance before the user leave the appliance so as to avoid accidents. Please unplug the power when not in use.
  31. The appliance is not located immediately below a socket outlet.
  32. Avoid continuous exposure to direct wind from the appliance, especially to infants and children.
  33. The power must be cut off and unplugged before cleaning or maintenance. Ensure that the appliance is switched off from the supply main before removing the cover.
  34. Please clean the machine by using a damp cloth with some mild detergent, do not use corrosive detergent or solvent, or similar cleaning products. Do not pour water into the machine. to reduce the risk of fire, please do not put the air intake and outlet of the appliance close to the wall or curtain. Keep textiles curtains, or any other flammable material a minimum distance of 1 meter from the air outlet.
  35. If it occurs problems of abnormal sound or uneven wind speed after using for some time, perhaps there is too much dust in the air intake grid and makes the airflow blocked, the fan could get right by cleaning the fan with a plastic brush.
  36.  Cut off the power if the unit is not used for a long period of time. Pull out the plug, pack the appliance well to protect it away from dust, and keep it in a dry, well-ventilated, and clean place.
  37. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
  38. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
  39. The appliance must not be used in the control panels are damaged.
  40. After use, some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
  41. The product is to be installed so that switches and other controls cannot be touched by a person in the bath or shower.

Installation

For desk use

Place on a stable and even surface. Do not cover or step on the product.

For wall mounting

  • (The appliance is only allowed to be installed on the wall when used in the bathroom).
  • As shown below picture, drill two holes on the wall (12cm apart), install the wall mount bracket to the wall and fixed by screw, and mount the product on the wall.
  • Installation requirement: appliance height from the ground should be at least 1 meter and distance from the left or right wall should be at least 0.3 meters, at least 1.2 meters from the water source.
  • The installation must be rm and able to prevent the appliance from loosening and falling off.

Wall-mount removal

Please push down the hook on the wall mounting bracket and slightly lift up the appliance to take it out.

For hook mounting

Install the rack mounting hook onto the handle/hanger of the appliance, and fasten the rack mounting hook with a screw. Hang the appliance on a rack, the distance from the back wall should be at least 5cm.

To avoid blocking the air inlet, be careful not to put towels, paper pieces, or any sundries on the back of the appliance.

As shown below picture, insert the rail into the joints on the back of the product, and pull down the rail to x it.

Battery replacement

Pull out the battery case from the main body of the remote control and pull out the battery holder from the gap. k Insert lithium battery (CR2032 3V), keep the positive pole upwards. l After inserting the battery, slide the battery box, then insert and x the battery box.

Cleaning and maintenance

Uninstall the air filter and air filter cover Pull the air filter cover toward yourself to remove the air filter and air filter cover. WARNING: 1. Before moving, cleaning, and performing user maintenance, switch off the appliance, unplug and wait for it cool. 2. Please do not turn on the appliance after the air filter cover is removed.

Air filter and air filter cover cleaning method – Always unplug the unit before moving or servicing. Unplug the unit and wait until the appliance stop running and cool it down before cleaning. – If there are stains on the surface of the product, scrub it by using a damp cloth with a neutral detergent. – Do not immerse the power cord, plug the whole unit into water or rinse under the tap. – Do not use a metal brush, gasoline, benzene, thinner, vinegar, volatile, poisonous or corrosive detergent to clean the unit to avoid damage to the appliance. – Please rinse the air filter with water, the air filter and cover must be dried up before installation. – After cleaning, the appliance must be dried up before use. – If the appliance will not be used for a long time, store it in a cool, dry, and safe place. How to use Insert the plug into a 220-240V~50Hz electrical power supply outlet. Press the [main power switch] of the back of the appliance to“ ”for turning on the main power, you can hear a “Bi-Bi” sound, press the on/off key on the control panel start to use the appliance.

  • Turn on/off
    Press to turn on/off the appliance. The default setting is low heating, and the corresponding red indicator light up.

  • Heat high/low Button
    Press and the appliance starts to work on low heating mode, corresponding red indicator light up. Press again, it is work on high heating mode, corresponding red indicator light up. NOTED: For heater mode, after turning off the appliance, it will keep running for approximately 10 seconds to lower the temperature of the internal parts.

  • Fan/ heater mode
    Press, this appliance under the Fan mode function. Press again, the appliance under heater mode function. The fan mode indicator light is blue color, while the heater mode indicator light is red color.

  • Timer setting
    Press to set a timer (1, 2, 4, 8 hours). Press and the corresponding red indicator will light up. When pressed 4 times, the indicator will dim.
