- The permissible nominal loads [MAX] of the test equipment and other means used (e. g. crane, load sling, etc.) must not be exceeded under any circumstances.
- When not in use, no loads must be attached to the scales.
- Before using the scales, make sure that all brackets are firmly mounted.
- Make sure that there are no persons under the suspended load.
- The measuring device is only permitted for lifting and weighing freely moving loads. Twisting the load (torsional stress) is not permitted. Transporting persons, pulling loads at an angle, tearing them loose, dragging them etc. is prohibited.
- Installation, commissioning, maintenance and operation of the measuring equipment may only be carried out by trained persons wearing appropriate protective equipment.
- Never touch the moving parts during the weighing process. This can lead to injuries.
- Do not enter the danger zone during use. This does not only include the area directly below the load but also areas that could become a hazard, e. g. due to swinging ropes or other load suspension equipment.

Operation
Switch scales on and off
To switch on the scales, press and release the key once. The scales are powered on and a start-up process begins.
- “8.8.8.8.” flashes twice
- maximum capacity display
- display of the battery level in per cent
- measurement begins
If – – – is displayed during the start-up process, a weight has been detected and must be removed.
To switch off the scales, press and hold the key on the remote control for about one second or press the key on the scales. The scales are switched off with the following display:
- Display of the battery level in per cent
- oFF
- The scale is now switched off
Note : It is not possible to switch on the scales via the remote control. When the total battery voltage is 3.75 V, the scales are switched off automatically because the battery voltage is too low.
Zero point
To set the zero point, press the key on the remote control or hold down the key on the scales.
Note : If the attached load is in motion, tared or outside the manual zero range, “Err” is displayed.
Taring
To tare the weight, press the key on the remote control or press and release the key on the scales once. To delete the tared weight, press the key again.
Note: If the suspended load is in motion, negative or out of the tare range, “Err” is displayed.
Hold function
To freeze the display, press the key on the remote control or the key on the scales. The display will also show “HOLD” next to the held reading. To resume the measurement, press the key again.
Totalising weights (accumulation)
Press the key on the remote control to add up the displayed weight. Once the value has been accepted, “ACC” is briefly displayed once.
Note : If the suspended load is not stable, negative or the load has not been suspended, “Err” is displayed.
Display the total weight
To display the sum of the weights, press and release the F1 key on the remote control once. The total is displayed flashing. Press the key on the remote control to display the highest or lowest totalised value. To return to measuring mode, press and release the key once.
Note: It is not possible to add further values in this view. To do this, you must go back to measuring mode
Delete last measured value
Press the key on the remote control to delete the last totalised value. If “dEL” is displayed, the last value has been deleted.
Note : Only the last value can be deleted.
Delete all saved values
To delete all saved values, first press the key on the remote control and then
press the key.
As soon as “CLR” is shown on the display, all values are deleted.
Change unit
To set the unit, press the F2 key on the remote control or briefly press and
hold the key on the scales. You can choose kg, lborun.
Settings
To make settings to the scales, the remote control is mandatory. To open the
settings menu, first

Battery
The battery status is displayed each time the scales are switched on and off. As soon as the batteries are flat, they must be replaced with new ones. For battery replacement, there are two battery compartments on the back of the scales that can be opened with a screwdriver. Two 1.5 V AA batteries must be inserted in each battery compartment. Ensure correct polarity. After inserting the batteries, the battery compartment must be closed. The scales can then be used again.
There is an LED on the remote control. It should flash when a key is pressed. If it does not flash, the batteries are probably flat and need to be replaced. The battery compartment is on the back. Use two 1.5 V AA batteries. Ensure correct polarity when inserting them

They must be given to collection points designed for that purpose.
In order to comply with the EU directive 2012/19/EU we take our devices back. We either re-use them or give them to a recycling company which disposes of the devices in line with law.
For countries outside the EU, batteries and devices should be disposed of in accordance with your local waste regulations.
