Compatibility quick guide – Apple
The Philips HearLink 2 app is used for remote control functionality including increasing/decreasing volume, changing programs and streaming equalization, and for Remote Fitting appointments. You can directly connect your hearing aids to your smartphone or other device without an accessory, so you can stream audio, answer phone calls, adjust settings, and more.

HearLink 2 app for Apple Watch®
Members can enjoy using the HearLink 2 app from the convenience of their Apple
Watch. Requirements include a compatible iPhone and the following:
- Apple Watch series 4 or later
- WatchOS® 8 or later
It is important to note that the HearLink 2 app must always be open/running in the background of the iPhone for it to function on the Apple Watch.
Please note that the Philips HearLink 2 app is compatible with devices with a minimum of 2 GB of RAM and running on the operating system iOS 16 or above. Philips HearLink 2 and Philips HearLink 9030 | 9040 family hearing aids require a mobile device with Bluetooth® 4.2 or above.

Members can enjoy hands-free calls using their iPhone and iPad.These hearing
aids support hands-free communication:

- HearLink 9030 ITC | ITE HS | ITE FS containing 2.4 GHz
Bi-directional streaming (hands-free communication) is available with iPhone 11 or later, iPad Pro 12.9-inch (5th gener-ation and 4th generation), iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd generation and 2nd generation), iPad Air (4th generation), and iPad mini (6th generation), with software updates iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2 or later. Hands-free communication requires minimum firmware 1.3.0 for HearLink 9030 hearing aids and firmware 1.0 for HearLink 9040 hearing aids.
