Product Information

The product is the A XOR One, available in three different models: 45711XX3, 45712XX3, and 45713XX3. It is a bathing, hygienic, and body-cleaning device. The product is designed for use with drinking water only. It operates at a maximum pressure of 1 MPa and has a recommended operating pressure range of 0.1 – 0.5 MPa. The test pressure is 1.6 MPa. The hot and cold water supplies must have equal pressures. The product is equipped with safety features, including check valves and backflow preventers. It is important to ensure proper installation, adherence to plumbing codes, and regular maintenance to ensure safe and effective operation.

Product Usage Instructions

Safety Notes:

• Wear gloves during installation to prevent crushing and cutting injuries.
• The product should only be used for bathing, hygienic, and body cleaning purposes.
• Children and adults with physical, mental, or sensory impairments must be supervised when using the product.
• Do not use the product if under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Installation Instructions:

Maintenance:

• Regularly check the check valves according to EN 806-5 and national/regional regulations (at least once a year).
• To ensure smooth operation, occasionally turn the thermostat from total hot to total cold.

Adjustment:
After installation, check the output temperature of the thermostat. If the measured temperature differs from the set temperature, adjust it accordingly.

Faults and Remedies:

• If there is insufficient water, check the supply pressure and clean the regulator and shower filter seals if necessary.
• If there is crossflow or backflow, check and clean the backflow preventers.
• If the spout temperature does not correspond with the set temperature, adjust the thermostat.
• If the hot water temperature is too low or temperature regulation is not possible, check for calcification in the thermo cartridge or issues with the instantaneous heater.
• If there are dirty filters or a check valve that hasn’t moved back, clean or replace them as needed.
• If the flow limiter in the hand shower is causing issues, remove it.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Prior to installation, inspect the product for transport damages. After it has been installed, no transport or surface damage will be honoured.
• The pipes and the fixture must be installed, flushed, and tested as per the applicable standards.
• The plumbing codes applicable in the respective countries must be observed.

Assembly

Installation with #45770180 only
If rough 45710180 is installed in combination with shut-off rough 45770180, remove the plug from the rear of the function block before proceeding with the installation.

SYMBOL DESCRIPTION

• Do not use silicone-containing acetic acid!

**ADJUSTMENT

**

After the installation, the output temperature of the thermostat must be checked. A correction is necessary if the temperature measured at the output differs from the temperature set on the thermostat.

MAINTENANCE

• The check valves must be checked regularly according to EN 806-5 in accordance with national or regional regulations (at least once a year).
• The mixer is equipped with check valves. To guarantee the smooth running of the thermostat, it is necessary from time to time to turn the thermostat from total hot to total cold.
