Product Information

The Easy to Install Liquid Level Alarm System is designed for indoor use. It features a power line that reduces the possibility of shock. The product is not UL Listed or CSA Certified.

This alarm system monitors liquid levels in lift pump chambers, sump pump basins, holding tanks, sewage, agricultural, and other water applications. The Tank Alert® I alarm system can serve as a high or low level alarm depending on the float switch model used. The alarm horn sounds when a potentially threatening liquid level condition occurs. The horn can be silenced, but the warning light remains on until the condition is remedied. A green “power on” light indicates power to the alarm panel.

Product Usage Instructions

Note: Before proceeding with the installation and usage of the Easy to Install Liquid Level Alarm System, please read the user manual thoroughly.

  1. Ensure that the power line is connected properly to reduce the possibility of shock.
  2. Choose the appropriate indoor alarm option based on your requirements.
  3. If required, select the control switch options as per your needs.
  4. Refer to the specifications for the voltage details based on the model you have.
  5. Install the alarm enclosure, ensuring it meets the dimensions specified (6 x 4 x 2.5 inch) and is made of NEMA 1 metal.
  6. Connect the float switch to the designated terminal, making sure not to apply power. The voltage across the terminals should be 12 VAC.
  7. Use the provided cable (15 feet long) to connect the alarm system. Ensure it is flexible, 18 gauge, and has 2 conductors. The cable should be water-resistant (CPE) and comply with UL standards.
  8. Consider the maximum water depth (30 feet) and pressure (13 psi) when installing the system.
  9. Connect the power cord, which is 6 feet long, to a suitable power source.
  10. Test the alarm horn, which produces a sound of 86 decibels at a distance of 10 feet (3 meters).

If you encounter any issues or require further assistance, please refer to the user manual or contact our customer support.
