EZconnex Float Switch Connection System
The EZconnex® float switch connection system is a revolutionary new way to
install float switches in a wet well for level control applications. It
includes an electrical wiring manifold with four quick release float switch
connection ports, mounting bracket and hardware. Installation is as easy as 1,
2, 3…Simply install the manifold, plug in the quick connect floats, and wire
the manifold cable to the control panel.
A single 8 conductor direct burial cable has Red-Blue-Yellow-White wire pairs
that match the R-B-Y-W colored caps on the manifold housing for easy
identification and field wiring. The color-coded cable makes for a quick, easy
installation. The quick release float switch connections and mounting bracket
allow for easy maintenance and replacement of floats.
The EZconnex® system can be used with 1, 2, 3 or 4 float switches. Each float
switch includes a protective rubber boot that provides a dual seal design for
an extra layer of protection to keep connections clean and dry. A range of
wide-angle and narrow-angle float switch options are available with quick
release connection to suit application needs (sold separately). Sealing plugs
are available for unused manifold ports (sold separately).
NOTE: Do not install manifold with open port(s).

- Rated for short-term water submersion in water
- Includes mounting bracket; float switches and sealing plugs must be ordered separately

Manifold Options:
- Standard cable lengths of 25, 50, or 100 ft (7.62, 15.24, or 30.48 m)
- Sealing plug (includes rubber boot) required for unused port(s)
Float Switch Options:
- EZconnex® SJE MilliAmp Master™ Float switches: these are SJE MilliAmp Master™ control switches that feature the quick release connection. Please see the SJE MilliAmpMaster™ control switch section in this catalog for complete specifications.
- Available in standard cable lengths of 5, 10, or 20 ft (1.52, 3.05, or 6.10 m)
- Colored caps for easy identification (blue cap = normally open; red cap = normally closed)
- Two float mounting configurations available; mounting clamp or cable weight
- EZconnex® SJE MegaMaster® Float switches: these are SJE MegaMaster® control switches that feature the quick release connection. Please see the SJE MegaMaster® control switch section in this catalog for complete specifications.
- Available in standard cable lengths of 10, 25, or 50 ft (3.05, 7.62 or 15.24 m)
- Optional 6-hook mounting bracket available (sold separately)

OTHER INFORMATION
NORMALLY OPEN (HIGH LEVEL) OPERATION
Blue colored cap, the control switch turns on (closes) when the switch tips
above horizontal signaling a high level, and turns off (opens) when the switch
drops below horizontal.
NORMALLY CLOSED (LOW LEVEL) OPERATION
Red colored cap, the control switch turns on (closes) when the switch drops
below horizontal signaling a low level, and turns off (opens) when the switch
tips above horizontal.
