Tally Pro is a coffee scale designed to assist users in brewing the perfect cup of coffee. With precise measurements and easy-to-use features, Tally Pro takes the guesswork out of coffee brewing. It allows you to control the amount of coffee beans to the 0.1 gram, calculate the coffee-to-water ratio with a single button touch, and automatically start a timer to ensure optimal brewing time.
The scale comes with a multi-purpose dial that allows you to select ratios, switch between measurement units, and power on/off
the device. It also features a mode button for switching between Brew Assist, Timer, and Weight modes. The bright display provides clear information, and the USB-C charging port ensures convenient charging when needed.
Tally Pro comes with a 2-year limited warranty, and you can register your scale to receive an additional year of coverage.

Product Usage Instructions

Before You Get Started
Remove and recycle the protective packaging on the dial and underneath the weigh pan. Refer to Page 9 of your Safety Manual for instructions on how to remove and reinstall the weigh pan.

Quick Start Guide

Place your empty container on the weigh pan.
Press the dial to turn on Tally Pro.
Press the mode button to toggle between modes and select Brew Assist.
Turn the dial to choose your desired brew ratio for automatic water weight calculation.
Add water to your container until it reaches the desired weight.

Ratio Recommendations

Coffee dosage guide:

20 grams: Pour-over for one
40 grams: Pour-overs for two
60 grams: French press for three

Brewing in Brew Assist Mode

Follow steps 1-4 in the Quick Start Guide with Brew Assist.
Press the timer button to move to the next step.
Check the display. The saved target water weight in grams is on the right, the current water weight is in the center, and the timer is on the left.
Start pouring and Tally will start timing. Pour until the current and target weights are the same.
The center oval will change from black to white to indicate that your perfect brew is ready.

Tips

If you prefer a countdown, you can press the timer button before pouring. You can pause the timer any time by pressing it again while timing.
Press the dial at any time to tare the scale. This will not erase your water target if already set.
To start another brew, press and hold the timer button until the scale resets.

Timer Mode

Got your ratio memorized? Tally will keep you in time.

Press the dial to turn on Tally Pro.
Press the mode button to toggle between modes and select Timer.
Place your empty container on the weigh pan and pour your ground beans into your brewer.
Press the dial to tare.
Press the timer button to start the timer.

Weight Mode

Press the dial to turn on Tally Pro.
Press the mode button to toggle between modes and select Weight.
Place your empty container on the weigh pan and add ingredients as needed.
Use the scale to measure the weight of your ingredient accurately.

SMART TIPS + TRICKS

Tally Pro will automatically turn off after 10 minutes unless timing. Screen will dim after two minutes of inactivity.
To turn off Tally Pro manually, press and hold the dial for one second. Tally will fade to black.
Set a reminder to charge Tally Pro every month for daily use. Tally Pro will remind you to charge it when its battery is getting low. Otherwise, you can check the battery status by plugging or unplugging the USB-C cable.
Keep coffee grinds away from the dial.
Never run Tally Pro under running water. Only clean with a damp cloth.
