Introduction
Thank you for choosing to purchase this quality product. To minimise the risk
of injury, we ask you to always take some basic safety precautions when using
this product. Please read this operating manual carefully and make sure that
you understand it.
Keep these operation instructions in a safe place.
Safety instructions
- The assembly of the gazebo requires two persons. It is not meant to be assembled permanently, but to be used temporarily for corresponding occasions.
- Make sure that the klick-locks serving for stabilising the bars are always snapped correctly into place.
- When opening and closing the gazebo, do not apply excessive force. Opening and closing must be done with the required caution lest the tarpaulin and bars be not damaged.
- During snowfall, you must make sure to remove the charge from the gazebo to avoid damages. During heavy winds, gusts might get under the gazebo and lift it up. Therefore, as a precaution, the gazebo should be disassembled when foul weather is expected (heavy rainfall, hail, storm, heavy snowfall, etc.). It is not suitable for such weather conditions.
- Always fix the tent with the help of the guy ropes and tent pegs included.
Mounting and unmounting
Attention: Follow the instructions carefully to avoid any pinching of
your fingers in the moving parts. The assembly and disassembly of the gazebo
requires two persons. Do not open the gazebo during strong wind; otherwise,
material damage and injuries might follow.
Assembly
- Place the folded-up gazebo in the centre of the area that it should shelter afterwards. Remove the carrying bag and stand the tent on its feet as shown. The two persons that mount the tent should be at opposite sides. Grasp two outer legs, slightly lift the frame, and step backwards so that your arms are fully outstretched.
- Now grasp your corner above and beneath the tarpaulin. Push your hands together up- and downwards and take another step backwards until the roof is fully opened. Make sure not to pinch your fingers and do not pull the bars backwards too hard, as this would result in the supports bending.
- Now first engage the slider of one side up using one hand while holding down the top of the leg with the other hand until the snap button engages in its hole. Repeat this on the three other corners.
- Place a foot onto the small plate at the lower end of your support and pull the inner out of the outer leg bar until the snap button engages in its hole. Repeat this on the three other supports.
- Square up the tent and attach the hook-and-loop fastener located on the underside of the cover around the upper part of the supports.
- To fasten the tent, you can attach the guy ropes at the corner rings and, using the pegs, into the ground. You may as well engage the pegs through the holes of the lower end of the supports to fix the gazebo.
Disassembly
- Remove the tent pegs and guy ropes and open the hook-and-loop fasteners.
- The two persons that unmount the tent should be at opposite sides. Grasp your support leg, slightly lift the tent, and loosen the snap buttons of the bars. Slide the inner support leg into the outer. Repeat this on the three other supports.
- Untighten the slider underneath the roof on all four corners by exerting a slight upward pressure with one hand and loosening the snap knob with the other hand. Pull down the slider over the snap knob.
- Now slightly lift the tent on two opposite sides. Slightly shake the tarpaulin. Pull your hands apart while stepping towards each other until the tent is about three-quarters closed.
- Grasp the two outer legs, slightly lift the tent, and close it completely.
- Before stowing away the gazebo in its carrying bag, make sure that it is entirely dry.
