Product Usage Instructions

CAUTION: Keep the blades oiled!

INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE FIRST USE:

  1. Before starting a haircut, inspect the clipper to ensure that it is free of oil between the cutting blade teeth.
  2. Switch the appliance on to distribute the oil and make sure it is running smoothly.
  3. Wipe off any excess oil.
  4. Before the first use of the appliance, completely discharge and then charge the battery. It takes about 12 hours to charge the batteries for the first time. Each subsequent charging phase takes approximately 8 hours.
  5. Usage time with fully charged batteries is approximately 60 minutes.
  6. Charge the batteries at least once every 6 months, even if the clipper is not in use.
  7. To charge the battery, connect the AC adapter plug to the connector in the base, and set the machine on the stand.
  8. You can use the clipper during charging.
  9. Unplug the AC adapter plug from the cradle socket and connect it directly to the clipper socket. Plug the power adapter into the wall outlet, and turn on the clipper.

OPERATION:

  1. Comb your hair with a comb in the direction of hair growth.
  2. Slide the blade adjustment lever and then move the comb up or down to set the desired length setting.

CAUTION

  • Never drop or insert any object into any opening on the appliance.
  • Make sure before use that the blades are aligned properly.
  • Do not place the appliance on a surface while it is operating.
  • Do not use the appliance with a damaged or broken comb or with teeth missing from the blades as injury may occur.

  • The corresponding hair length is visible on the side of the hair clipper.
  • With the hair clipping comb attached, the appliance can cut hair to 5 different lengths.
  • Slide the on/off slide upwards to switch on the appliance.

THIN-OUT FUNCTION allows for reducing hair volume without reducing its length. Slide the thinning cutter button to pull out the thinning cutter.

TIPS

  • Cut the hair in a relaxed and slow manner. Use short strokes only to work gradually over the head.
  • Always take off a little at a time.
  • Cut dry hair only as it is easier to control haircut length.
  • Don’t cut fast.
  • Don’t press hard on the clipper.

CLEANING

  • Mind cleaning the appliance regularly for appliance and blades’ long life.
  • Ensure that the appliance is switched off.
  • Remove cut hair from the blades with the brush.
  • Wipe the body of the hair clipper with a wet cloth. Dry the appliance.
  • Don’t immerse the appliance in water or another liquid.
  • Don’t use chemical or abrasive cleaners.
  • Mind oiling the blades of the clipper every few haircuts for appliance and blades’ long life.
  • Use only oil that is in the set.
