Introduction
Set your Amazon Echo Dot 4 free with the i-box Run4 Portable Battery Base.
Simply place your Amazon Echo Dot 4 into the Run4, plug in the connectors and
you’re good to go.
Caring for your Speaker
Important Safety Information
Important – Please read these instructions fully before installing or
operating your speaker.
Keep away from flame sources such as lit candles.
Do not expose to dripping or splashed fluids.
Objects filled with liquids, such as vases, must not be placed close to the
speaker.
The unit should not be exposed to direct sunlight, very high or low
temperature, moisture, vibrations, strong magnetic fields, high frequencies
and dusty environments.
Do not place the product in enclosed bookcases or racks without proper
ventilation. Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation
openings with items, such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
Never attempt to insert wires, pins or other such objects into the vents or
openings of the unit.
Do not disassemble or modify the battery base, there are no user serviceable
parts.
If the battery base is damaged in anyway or malfunctions do not use. Consult a
qualified service engineer.
Do not use abrasives, benzene, thinner or other solvents to clean the surface
of the unit. To clean, wipe with clean soft cloth and a mild detergent
solution.
Do not dispose of this product with household waste at the end of its life
cycle; hand it over to a collection center for the recycling of electrical and
electronic appliances.
This product contains a Li-Polymer battery and should be disposed of
appropriately. Do not dispose of it with household waste at the end of its

Getting to know your Battery Base
Your i-box Run4 is very simple to set up, but before we get into that please
be sure to read through the safety information on pages 2-3.
Now lets have a quick look at some of the important bits.

Getting started
Inserting your Echo Dot (not supplied)
Place your Echo Dot 4 into the Run4 battery base as shown, aligning the
connection port with the cable.
Connecting your Echo Dot
Once the Echo Dot 4 has been inserted, connect the cable (3) to the Echo
Dot as shown below.
Powering up the Run4
Press and hold the power button (1) on the back of the battery base for 2
seconds to power up the Run4. Repeat this process to turn the power off.
Press the power button (1) once to highlight the battery power. This must be
done while the Run4 is switched on. The number of LEDs (5) that are lit up on
the front, indicate how much power is left in the battery.
Charging the Run4
Use the power adaptor supplied with your Echo Dot to charge the Run4.
Connect to the DC input (3).
The Run4 will be fully charged and ready to go once all 4 LEDs (6) on the
front are fully lit.
