DOMO DO636K Neck and Back Warmer
Product Information
The DO636K is a neck and back warmer that provides warmth and comfort to the user. The product has an adjustable temperature setting that can be controlled through the buttons on the device. It comes with a snoeraansluiting, halssluiting, and sluiting rond middel for easy and comfortable usage. The product has a display that shows the temperature setting. The DO636K has a safety feature that automatically shuts off the device after 1.5 hours of continuous use.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before using the product, read all instructions carefully and save the manual for future reference.
- Connect the snoer to the snoeraansluiting on the neck and back warmer and plug it into an electrical outlet.
- Put on the neck and back warmer by securing it over your shoulders, closing the halssluiting, and tying the cord around your waist. Make sure the snoeraansluiting is on the outside of the neck and back warmer.
- Press the aan/uit-knop to turn on the device. The display will show “1”.
- Press the button to increase the temperature setting. The temperature will increase with each press of the button. Use the button to decrease the temperature setting. There are 9 temperature settings (1-9), start with a low setting and gradually increase it. The chosen temperature setting will be displayed on the screen.
- The device will automatically turn off after 1.5 hours of continuous use. Let it cool down for 10 minutes before turning it back on.
- To turn off the device, press the aan/uit-knop and unplug it from the electrical outlet.
- Before cleaning the device, unplug it from the electrical outlet and let it cool down completely.
- The neck and back warmer can be washed by hand with mild liquid detergent and lukewarm water. Rinse with clean water to remove all detergent. Do not wash the device frequently as it may lead to color changes or wear and tear.

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty. If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you purchased it. The guarantee on accessories and components that are liable to wear-and-tear is only 6 months.
The guarantee and responsibility of the supplier and manufacturer lapse automatically in the following cases:
- If the instructions in this manual have not been followed.
- In case of incorrect connection, e.g., electrical voltage that is too high.
- In case of incorrect, rough or abnormal use.
- In case of insufficient or incorrect maintenance.
- In case of repairs or alterations to the device by the consumer or non-authorised third parties.
- If the customer used parts or accessories that are not recommended or provided by the supplier / manufacturer.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be taken, including the following:
- Read all instructions carefully. Keep this manual for future reference.
- Make sure all packaging materials and promotional stickers have been removed before using the appliance for the first time. Make sure children cannot play with the packaging materials.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 16 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 16 and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children younger than 16 years.
- All repairs should be carried out by the manufacturer or its aftersales service.
- Any injury or damage caused by failure to comply with these rules are at your own risk. Neither the manufacturer, importer, or the supplier may be held liable.
ELECTRICAL WARNINGS
- In order to avoid a hazard this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer or a separate remote control, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
- The appliance must be disconnected from its power source when not in use, during service and when replacing parts. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- To disconnect, turn controls to “OFF” or “0” position, then remove the plug from the wall. Never pull the cord or appliance to remove the plug from the socket.
- Check carefully that the voltage and frequency of the power net match the indications on the rating label of the appliance.
- The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is installed and grounded in accordance with all local standards and requirements.
- Do not let the power supply cord hang over the edge of a counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Keep the power cord away from hot parts and don’t cover the appliance.
- Unwrap the cord completely to prevent overheating of the cord. Do not allow the power cord supply to run underneath or around the unit.
- The appliance may not be used with an extension lead or a multiple socket.
- Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug or in the event the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the DOMO Service Department or its service agent for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment. Do not try to repair the appliance yourself.
INSTALLATION
- Do not place near flammable materials, gases or explosives.
- Do not use or store this appliance outdoors.
- Always use the appliance on a steady, dry and level surface.
- Never place this appliance near a gas stove or electrical stove or in a place where it may come into contact with a warm appliance.
USE
- Do not use this appliance for other than intended use.
- Only use the appliance for domestic use. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for accidents that result from improper use of the appliance or not following the instructions described in this manual.
- Never leave the appliance unattended while it is functioning.
- Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.
- The use of accessories that are not recommended or sold by the manufacturer can cause fire, electrical shock or injuries. Only use the utensils delivered with the appliance.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- To protect against electrical shock or burns, do not immerse unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
- Failure to maintain this appliance in a clean condition could adversely affect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation.
PRODUCT-SPECIFIC WARNINGS
- Wrap the cord up completely to prevent it from overheating.
- Never touch the device with wet or damp hands.
- Do not use needles, safety pins, or other sharp objects on the device as these will damage the wiring.
- While the device is switched on:
- No large or heavy object may be placed on top of it.
- No source of heat (e.g. hot-water bottles, bed warmers, heating pads) may be placed on top of it.
- Avoid letting animals lie on the device.
- The electric and magnetic fields emitted by this electrical product can interfere with the operation of a pacemaker under certain circumstances. Therefore, contact your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before using this product.
- The device is not intended for use in hospitals.
- The device must not be used by people who are insensitive to heat or who are unable to react should the device start to overheat.
- The cord and control panel of the device may present a risk of suffocation, strangulation, tripping, or stumbling if not laid away neatly. The user must ensure that the attachments and the cord are always in a safe position.
- The device may only be operated using the control panel supplied.
- Always allow the device to cool down before folding it up and storing it away.
- Do not crease the device by placing objects on top of it when stored.
- Do not use the device when it is still wet. The device must be completely dry before use.
- In case of long-term use, e.g. if the user falls asleep, it is recommended to set the device to setting 1.
- Unplug the device and allow it to cool down for at least 10 minutes before cleaning.
- The device can be washed by hand.
- Never use the appliance when folded or bent
- Do not stick pins or other sharp objects into the appliance
- Not suitable for children under 3 years of age

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers.
- Never use the device when folded, bent, turned down, and/or tucked in.
- Do not place artificial heat sources, or heavy and/or angular objects on the device.
- The device is equipped with overheating protection. This protection prevents the device from overheating across its entire surface by automatically switching off the power in the event of a malfunction. Please note that the device may not be used afterward for safety reasons and must be returned to your retailer.
- There may be a slight odour from the device when it is used for the first time. This is normal. It is recommended that the room be ventilated briefly after the first use.
USE
- Click the cable into the cable connector on the neck and back warmer and plug the other end into the electrical socket.
- Lay the neck and back warmer over your shoulders, close the neck fastener using the snaps, and tie the belt around your waist. Make sure that the cable connector is located on the outside of the neck and back warmer.
- Press the on/off button to switch on the appliance. “1” will appear on the display.
- Then press the button to increase the heat setting. Each press of the button will increase the temperature. Use the button to lower the heat setting to decrease the temperature again. You can choose between 9 heat settings (1-9). We recommend starting on a low setting and gradually increasing it. The neck and back warmer will heat up quickly. The selected heat setting is shown on the display.
- The appliance will switch off automatically after 1.5 hours. This is a set safety measure.
- Let the appliance cool down for 10 minutes before turning it on again.
- Press the on/off button if you want to disconnect the appliance. Then unplug the appliance.
ATTENTION
- Prolonged use on a high temperature setting may cause burns on a sensitive skin.
- Check if the temperature is pleasant with the top of your hand. This zone is more sensitive than the palm of the hand.
- If you use the appliance for several hours at the highest setting, the appliance could overheat.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Let the appliance cool down completely before cleaning it. Remove the connection plug. Always remove the plug from the electrical socket before cleaning.
- The neck and back warmer can then be washed by hand. Wash the neck and back warmer using lukewarm water and a mild liquid detergent. Gently wring out any excess water. Rinse with clean water to remove all the detergent. Washing it too frequently can lead to colour changes or wear. So wash the neck and back warmer only when absolutely necessary.
- Small stains can be cleaned with a cloth or damp sponge, if necessary with a liquid mild washing detergent.
- Please note that the device must not be dry-cleaned.
- Then let it air dry. Never dry in a tumble dryer, in the sun, or on a heater. Do not use clothes pegs. Instead, drape the device over a drying rack.
- Never switch the device on to dry it faster.
- Store the appliance in a dry place. Make sure the appliance is rolled up properly. Do not fold the appliance.

STORING THE DEVICE
- If you do not use the device for a longer period of time, we recommend that you store it in its original packaging in a dry environment and without placing anything heavy on top of it.
- Allow the device to cool down before storing it.
PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

socket and then insert the connector plug into the device? You must always
insert the connector plug first, and then plug the other end into the
electrical socket.
– Did the connector plug accidentally come off while using the device? Remove the plug from the electrical socket first, then reattach the connector plug to the device, and then plug the cable back
in.
The appliance does not heat enough.| – After +/- 15 min. the appliance reaches the set temperature. Increase the temperature if necessary.
