Pro Portable Misting System

Congratulations on the purchase of your new misting system. The ExtremeMist® Pro Portable Misting System is a stand-alone, battery-powered outdoor misting system that creates a continuous cloud of ultra-ﬁne mist, cooling the air around you up to 30°F.
Clip the ExtremeMist® pump and nozzle system to decks, patios, umbrellas, sun shelters, garages, sports sidelines or anywhere else you’d like to cool down outside. Sets up in minutes!

SET UP INSTRUCTIONS

Unzip pump softshell case (F) and take out transparent battery blocker tab. Using the USB charger (G), charge PCS battery in or out of its cradle (A). Press power icon button on battery pack to check the charge level, indicated by 1-4 lights. 4 lights means full charge.
Once charged, reinsert battery into its cradle. Insert PCS pump (A) into pump case (F).
Attach Brass Hose Filter (J) to the end of 4’ Feed-Line (I) and insert into any size water container. Depress plastic ring on water ﬁlter and pull out hose to remove ﬁlter.
Insert other end of Feed -Line (I) into white input port on PCS Pump, (down arrow) closest to nylon lanyard. Fully seat hose.*
Insert end of mist line (C) into white output port on Pump (up arrow).
Be sure to fully seat hose.*
Attach PCS Pump to your preferred structure using the lanyard or dual straps on the back of the pump softshell case (F).
Clip nozzle hose to preferred structure with Leather Clips (H) and/or 10” Rubberized Ties (E).
Turn on Blue Pump via Remote Control (B) using the square icon button and adjust mist to your desired speed. Alternatively, turn on Pump by pressing and holding power button on pump.
Keep pressing button to increase speed from 2 to 4 to 6 to 8. If mist hasn’t started within 15 seconds, rotate knob on Purge Valve (D) to release any trapped air.

To fully seat hose, ﬁrmly push hose in at least ⅝”

When you’re ﬁnished using the misting system, remove the Feed-Line from the water, and turn the PCS Pump to the highest settng to remove any remaining water from the hoses.
Depress the quick disconnect ring to remove hoses from Pump and ﬁttngs. Turn the unit on its highest speed settng, hold it upside down, and lightly shake it to remove excess water from the pump.
Store the misting system in a dry place above 32°F.

Tips & Troubleshooting

Keep water source as close as possible to PCS Pump.
Consider the direction of the wind when settng up the misting system and adjust as needed.
Make sure all hoses are fully seated to prevent leaks. Check all connections when ﬁrst turning the system on. If a leak persists, trim the leaking hose and re-seat it.
Upon ﬁrst use, the system may take a few moments to prime. Open purge valve to allow water to ﬂow freely, then close the valve to allow water to ﬁll the hoses and begin misting.
After ensuring input line is fully seated, if Pump doesn’t draw water, remove hose from ﬁrst mist nozzle connector, turn Pump to high and draw (like a straw) on released hose to help prime Pump.
Keep the remote close to the pump and press and hold buttons to ensure inputs are recognized.
Never pull hoses out of quick-disconnect ﬁttngs without ﬁrst depressing the gray or white quick-disconnect rings to release them.
Hoses can be trimmed to ﬁt your preferred conﬁguration.
If a nozzle clogs, remove nozzle and tap on hard surface to dislodge any hard water crystals. If problem persists, disconnect nozzle from ﬁting, unscrew top section of nozzle (always unscrew with nozzle up-right). Be careful not to lose any small parts in body of nozzle. If the nozzle is still blocked, try inserting a ﬁne sewing needle from the inside part of the disassembled nozzle head to clear hole, or soak in mineral remover solution such as CLR or white vinegar. If nozzle head is clear but mist still won’t emit, unscrew bottom portion of nozzle (connected to stem) blow though wide end of ﬁttng to clear micro ﬁlter.
NOTE: Nozzles can clog from minerals in tap water. You can use distilled water for clog free use. See “PCS Installation” video for clearing out the nozzles.

Maximum distance is approximately 15 feet.
Square icon represents ON button; lock icon represents OFF button.
Pump defaults to middle speed setting.
UP and DOWN arrows control speed of mist.
Sliding cover protects buttons when they are not in use.
Clip the remote to a convenient location for easy access.

Battery Pack Guide

Remove transparent battery blocker tab before use.
Battery Pack can be removed from pump system while charging if desired.
– Slide latch up, lift battery, and ﬁrmly pull.
– To reinsert battery, slide latch up, align the two tabs on bottom of battery, insert bottom of battery into its cradle, and push it into place.
Make sure the latch is slid closed.
To check the battery’s charge level, press the button on front of battery pack, up to 4 lights will illuminate indicating charge.
Input micro USB port will charge battery pack with PCS Charger.
Output USB port can be used to charge other devices.
Battery lasts approximately 5-12+ hours depending on speed of mist and output charging.
For faster charge, plug A/C adapter to wall outlet & connect to Micro USB port on battery. It takes approximately 3 hours to charge from empty to full.*
To charge the battery using a diﬀerent power source, unplug the charging power cord from adapter and connect it to an alternative charging device.
