IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE AND SAVE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
When using an electrical appliance, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

INTENDED USE

  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with, in or around the appliance.
  • Intended for use with dogs or cats only. Do not use this pet feeder with puppies, kittens, dogs or cats not able to reach the food tray or with any physical disability.
  • Use the appliance only for intended household purposes as described in this User Manual.

ELECTRICITY SAFETY

  • DO NOT operate the appliance if it has a damaged power cord or plug, or if it is malfunctioning or has been damaged in any manner.
  • DO NOT immerse power cord, plugs, or the device base in water or other liquid or allow moisture to come into contact with these parts.
  • To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not place or store an appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
  • Always unplug the appliance when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning. Never unplug by pulling on power cord.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard
  • Use ONLY the provided power adapter and charging cable.

RELATED TO USE

  • DO NOT attempt to disassemble, repair, modify or replace any part of your product. All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel only. No user serviceable parts inside.
  • DO NOT allow pets to chew on or swallow any parts. Cover or hide the power cord with care to prevent pets from biting.
  • DO NOT lift the pet feeder by lid, hopper, bowl or bowl holder. Lift and carry feeder using both hands and hopper base, while keeping unit in upright position.
  • Install or store pet feeder on a level surface against wall or in a corer to avoid tripping
  • For dry food use only. Do not use wet, canned, moist food or pet food with special shapes, holes or diameter above 12mm/0.47 inch.
  • Install 4 AA batteries (not included) for back-up power in case of a power outage.
  • Before leaving for extended time, always replace batteries with new batteries. Check operation frequently to be sure the pet feeder is dispensing properly.
  • Dispose of all packaging materials properly. Keep away from children and pets.

Using Your Pet Feeder

Setting Up

Remove the feeder from its package. Take out lid, bowl, bowl holder and all other accessories.| Plug in the included USB-C cable. Install 4 AA batteries (not included) for back-up power in case of a power outage.| Situate the bowl holder on the buckle underneath food outlet. Place the bowl in the bow! holder.| Place the hopper on the base by aligning the front notch. Rotate the dispenser rotor to properly situate the hopper in place.

Add proper amount of dry pet food (5-12mm /

Additional Features
Manual Feeding

  1. Hold for 55 to unlock the control panel.
  2. Press once to dispense one portion of food. Press repeatedly to dispense more.

Clearing Feeding Schedule

  1. Hold for 5s to unlock the control panel
  2. Hold and simuttaneously for 3s until a beep is heard to clear the feeding schedule.

Train Your Pet to Use the Feeder

  • Location is Key. Place the feeder next to the current food bowl(s). Set it up, and use Feed buitton to dispense some familiar food. Give your pets a day or two to explore.
  • Introduce Automatic Feeding. Once you notice that your pet has eaten from the feeder, press the Feed button while your pet is in the room with you so it can observe the food dispensing and become familiar ith the sound while you are there to reassure them.
  • Set Automatic Feeding Schedule. Take away the old food bowls and set automatic feeding schedule. For the next few days, keep an eye on your pet and the feeder to confirm that your pet is eating comfortably from the unit.

Care and Cleaning

  • **** Always air dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling for next use.
  • We recommend that you dlean the feeder at least once a month. The best time to clean is when the hopper and bowl are already empty.

Lift to remove the bowl and holder. Hold with both hands to remove the hopper.| Twist to OPEN position to open the lid. Take out the desiccant bag.

Rinse clean the lid, hopper, bowl and bow! holder.
Dry thoroughly before reassembling.| Wipe the base with a soft and damp cloth. Do not rinse or immerse in water.

Q: Display screen or control panel is not responsive.

Q: Food does not come out.

A: • Be sure to add dry food with size of 5-12mm / 0.2-0.47 inch in diameter. • Make sure the hopper is properly installed. Rotate the dispenser rotor to properly situate the hopper in place. • Check if the dispenser rotor is jammed or the food outlet is blocked. • Check if the pet feeder is properly connected to a powered electrical outlet or if outage occurs with no back-up batteries installed.

Q: How often should I feed my cat or dog?

A: The amount and frequency depends on your pet's nutritional needs, age, medical conditions and lifestyle, as well as your personal preference. • Growing kittens up to six months of age may require three meals a day From age six months to maturity, most cats will do well when fed two times a day. • Dogs should eat at least two meals each day, about 12 hours apart. But a breakfast, lunch, and dinner schedule is an equally great option.

Warranty and Service

Thank you for choosing MeoWant Automatic Pet Feeder. This product is covered ‘with MeoWant product and labor warranty for 12 months from the date of its original purchase.

The warranty will not apply in cases of:
– Accident, misuse, o repairs performed by unauthorized personnel.
– Any unit that has been tampered with or used for commercial purpose.
– Normal wear and tear of wearable parts.
– Use of force, damage caused by external influences.
– Damage caused by non-observance of the User Manual, e.g. connection to an unsuitable mains supply or non-compliance with the instructions.
– Partially or completely dismantled appliances.
– Defects caused by or resulting from damages from shipping or from repairs, service, or alteration to the product or any of its parts that have been performed by a repair person not authorized
