Product Information
The product is a solenoid valve of type EV220B 65 – 100 manufactured by Danfoss Ltd. It is designed to control the flow of water in various applications. The product comes with an installation guide and accessories like cable plug identification, coil BB/BE/BG/BY, flange set, and manual override kit. The valve orifice size ranges from 65mm to 100mm and the required min. inside tube diameter is 70mm. The product has a maximum working pressure of 10 bar and a max test pressure of 15 bar. The recommended maintenance interval is every 6 to 12 months.
Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that the water supply (part 1) has a straight tube on both sides of the valve to avoid closing problems caused by turbulent flow.
- Install a filter (part 2) in the water supply to ensure water quality.
- Install a ball valve (part 3) in the water supply for easy on/off control.
- Install the solenoid valve (part 4) in the application as per the installation guide provided.
- Install a ball (part 5) and test reservoir (part 6) to check the functioning of the valve.
- Ensure that the application (part 8) has a straight tube on both sides of the valve to avoid closing problems caused by turbulent flow.
- Install a ball valve (part 7) in the application for easy on/off control.
- Connect the cable plug identification to the coil BB/BE/BG/BY as per the installation guide provided.
- Install the flange set as per the installation guide provided.
- In case of water hammer risk, change the equalizing orifice from 2mm to 1.2mm. Refer to page 6 of the installation guide for instructions.
- Ensure that the required min. inside tube diameter is maintained throughout the application, same or bigger inside diameter as valve orifice 65 / 80 / 100 mm.
