Product Information

The Smart Water Valve is a compact device designed to facilitate easy access once installed. It is compatible with Control4 controller, Composer Pro, and Control4. The device can be backed up with lithium batteries (not included) for ongoing operation. It has a self-testing system that ensures proper operation throughout the life of the device. The valve can be opened and closed manually, and the removable controller allows the manual valve to be left in place if a part is replaced. Some features must be programmed by a Control4 integrator.

Product Usage Instructions

To use the Smart Water Valve, follow the below instructions:

Install the device indoors only.
Connect the device to a Control4 controller, Composer Pro, or Control4.
Back up the device with lithium batteries (not included) for ongoing operation.
Use the self-testing system to ensure proper operation throughout the life of the device.
The valve can be opened and closed manually. If a part is replaced, use the removable controller to leave the manual valve in place.
Program the features by a Control4 integrator.
To remotely open and close the valve, use the Control4 controller.
If a water leak is detected, the signal must pass through a Control4 controller to trigger the automatic closure of the valve.
Use your smartphone, touch screens, remote, or computer to control the opening and closing of the water inlet remotely.

OPERATING MODES

Smart water valve used in “Leak supervisor” mode:
When paired with Control4 smart water leak detectors designed by Sinopé Technologies, the valve can receive an automatic closing message through the Control4 controller as soon as a water leak is detected. You will then receive a water leak detection and valve closing alert.

Smart water valve used alone:
Through the Control4 controller, it is possible to remotely open and close the valve.

Some features must be programmed by a Control4 integrator.
