SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Operate the device only after having familiarized yourself with its functions. Do not permit operation by person not qualified for operating the device. Most damages are the result of unprofessional operation.
  • Please use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
  • For safety reasons, please be aware that all modifications on the device are forbidden. Furthermore, any other operation may lead to short-circuit, burns, electric shock,  crash, etc. If this device will be operated in any way different to the one described in this manual, the product may suffer damages and the guarantee becomes void.
  • To prevent electric shock, do not remove top or bottom covers.
  • No user serviceable parts inside.
  • Refer servicing to qualified servicing personnel.
  • Disconnect power cord before removing back panel cover to access gain switch.
  • No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus
  • The unit should only be used in moderate climates
  • This unit should be cleaned only with a dry cloth. Avoid solvents or other cleaning detergents
  • A minimum distance of 0.5m around the unit must be kept to ensure sufficient ventilation and avoid overheating
  • We strongly recommend the use of high-grade cables and connectors for the transmission of audio signals.
    Inferior quality materials cannot supply acceptable audio quality or corrosion protection.

DISCONNECT DEVICE: Where the MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

CHARGING THE UNIT

Prior to using this system for the first time, please insert the AC lead into the AC socket of the player and plug
the other end on a suitable wall outlet. Charging time is about 7-9 hours.
Please recharge once every 6 months if you don’t use the system for a longer period of time.
NOTE: Please shut down the power switch after you have finished using the system.

IMPORTANT NOTE on LITHIUM-ION Batteries

  • PRIOR to using the unit for the first time, please charge fully the battery
  • Charge the battery regularly after each use. Don’t wait until it is discharged!
  • DON’T allow the battery to discharge completely, otherwise it will lose 20% of its capacity or even be totally damaged! If the voltage becomes too low, the internal  circuits are not powered anymore and it will become impossible to recharge the battery!
  • If you don’t use the unit for a longer period of time, it is recommended to charge it at 40% of its capacity and check/charge it once per month.

BATTERIES ARE NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY
We cannot be held responsible for damaged batteries further to the non- observance of these basic rules.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR BATTERIES

This symbol indicates that used batteries should not be disposed of with household waste but deposited in separate collection points for recycling.
ATTENTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly placed. Only replace by the same or equivalent type.
WARNING
Do not swallow the battery. Danger of chemical burns.
The supplied remote control contains a button cell. In case of ingestion, it might cause serious internal burns within only 2 hours that might lead to death.
Keep new and old batteries out of the reach of children.
If the battery compartment doesn’t close properly, stop using the product and keep it out of the reach of children.
If you are in doubt whether the batteries have been swallowed or introduced into any other part of the body, contact immediately a doctor.

Operation of the microphone

  • Open the battery cover (6) and insert a battery with the correct polarity. Close the battery cover.
  • Turn on the microphone power switch (4). The power LED indicator (2) will flash once and then go off. If the indicator (2) keeps light up in red, the battery power is  low. Please change the battery.
  • When switching the microphone on, please proceed in 2 steps. Move the switch first to the center position and wait for at least 0.2 seconds or it will produce noise. Then move to ON position.

  3. EQ: 00-NORMAL/01-POP/02-ROCK/03-JAZZ/04-CLASSIC/05-COUNTRY

  7. VOL-: Volume down

  8. VOL+: Volume up

  9. Number keys: Press the number of the file in the folder to select it directly. To select a 2 digit file, press 0 or PICK SONG and then the 2 digits of the file. Eg.:
    To select file 65, press 0/PICK SONG+6+5

  10. Mode: Select between USB and Bluetooth mode

  11. PICK SONG: To select directly a file number of 2 or more digits in USB mode

  12. ENTER: Press once, FOLDER is displayed. The unit will play all files in the folder in sequence. Press twice, ONE is displayed and the current song will be played  continuously. Press 3x, ALL is displayed and all songs in the folder will be played continuously. Press 4x, RANDOM is displayed and the songs in the folder will be played in random sequence.

Quick Start

  1. Set the POWER switch (2) to ON. The battery charge is indicated by the LED indicator (4). Please charge the unit if the level is LOW. The unit will switch off  automatically when the battery runs low.
  2. Insert the power cord into the DC input jack (1) to charge the unit.
  3. Turn on the microphone power switch. The RF LED (6) or (7) on the control panel will light. This means that the receiver is receiving the signal and is in normal  working condition.
  4. To use an external sound source, insert a signal cable into the AUX/MP3 input (14). Adjust the volume via the LINE / MP3 volume control (10).
  5. The unit has a TONE control (8), BASS (11) and TREBLE (12) controls.
  6. Set the overall volume via the MASTER control (13).
  7. Voice priority: Set the switch (3) to on. If you speak into the microphone, the music will be cut off and resume once the microphone is not used anymore.

Operation

  1. Playing audio files: Select Bluetooth mode via the remote control or unplug the USB input so that the audio player selects automatically Bluetooth mode.
  2. Bluetooth connection: Turn on the Bluetooth function on your mobile device. Search and select “BST” for Bluetooth connection.
  3. Selecting an audio file: Press the number keys on the remote control to select the desired file. If the number has two digits, press 0 first and then enter the other two digits. Example: 58 = 0+5+8
