WARNING
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if mishandled, could result

- Install the unit in a indoor location that can structurally support the weight of the unit and the mounting bracket. Doing otherwise may result in the unit falling down and causing personal injury and/or property damage.
- Do not use other methods than specified to mount the bracket. If extreme force is applied to the unit, it could fall off and possibly resulting in personal injuries.
CAUTION

- To avoid electric shocks, be sure to switch off the amplifier’s power when connecting speakers.
- Do not operate the unit for an extended period of time with the sound distorting. This is an indication of a malfunction, which in turn can cause heat to generate and result in a fire.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The PC-580S Square Ceiling Mount Speaker is of all heavy-duty metallic
construction with an 8-inch speaker and 5W transformer to be used in 25V/70V
audio distribution systems. It delivers highly intelligible voice
announcements and clear music sounds in General Paging and Background Music
Distribution applications. The optional back boxes are available for flush or
surface mount installations on the wall. The Input impedance can be easily
changed by transformer tap position

INSTALLATION
WIRING DIAGRAMS
The speaker’s input Is factory preset to 5W at 70 V line. Make sure to connect
an appropriate black wire to tap wattage on matching transformer and reinsert
it into the desired input tap.
