MXR CSP041 Hybrid Fuzz
This pedal combines two iconic Fuzz Face® Distortion sounds, featuring the snarling, high-gain aggression of a silicon transistor and the smooth, shaggy warmth of a germanium transistor in a single circuit.
External Controls
- OUTPUT knob adjusts volume level of effect
- FUZZ knob adjusts intensity of effect
- FOOTSWITCH toggles effect on/bypass (red LED indicates on)
Basic Operation
Power
The MXR® Hybrid Fuzz is powered by one 9-volt battery (remove bottom plate to install), a 9-volt AC adapter such as the Dunlop ECB003/ECB003EU, or an MXR® Brick™ Series power supply.
Directions
- Run an instrument cable from your instrument to the CSP041’s INPUT jack and another cable from the CSP041’s OUTPUT jack to your amplifier.
- Start with knobs set fully counterclockwise.
- Turn effect on by depressing the footswitch.
- Rotate OUTPUT knob clockwise to increase volume or counterclockwise to decrease it.
- Rotate FUZZ knob clockwise to increase intensity of effect or counterclockwise to decrease it.
