Product BUFFING ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY

  1. Attach the bracket to the quick change tab using the 1/4 button head screw and a 5/8 hex nut. Repeat for the second bracket.
  2. Attach the quick change accessory wheel to the bracket using the buffer drive wheel and the buffing arbor. Use the 5/16 spacer,1/4-20 screw, and 5/8 flat washer to secure the buffer drive wheel to the quick change accessory wheel. Repeat for the second bracket.
  3. Be careful not to overtighten bearings. The wheel should spin freely but there shall be no extra space between the bearings and nut or bolt head.

BUFFING ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY

  • Install the ¼-20 round head screws through the qc offset tab into the quick change accessory wheel bracket.
  • Insert the ½-13 x 3” Hex Bolt into the wheel and install ½-13 nylock nut onto the other side.
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVERTIGHTEN BEARINGS. THE WHEEL SHOULD SPIN FREELY BUT THERE SHALL BE NO EXTRA SPACE BETWEEN THE BEARINGS AND NUT OR BOLT HEAD.
  • Install the wheel spacer onto the bolt and thread into the Buffing Wheel Bracket.
  • Slip the wheel arbor over the wheel and install the ¼-20 set screws. The set screws should bottom out on the flats of the wheel.
  • Use the 5/8 washers and Nut to install a buffing or wire wheel.
