ABSORBER

These instructions are for the following product: PET Ceiling Absorber 180, PET Ceiling Absorber 120

TIP:

Make sure to examine the condition and load carrying capacity of the ceiling before installation.

TOOLS

The following tools are needed for installation:

✓ Level
✓ Drilling machine
✓ Pencil
✓ Folding ruler
✓ Drill bits

MOUNTING ACCESSORIES

The following mounting accessories are included for installation of the absorber:

✓ 4 × dowel
✓ 4 × screw M4×40
✓ 4 × eyelet
✓ 4 × adjustable wire rope
✓ 1 × PET fleece absorber
✓ 1 × drilling template

UNBOXING

Open the package carefully! Inserting sharp objects into the package can damage the absorber. Avoid using long, sharp tools for opening the package!

Unboxing

REMOVE PRODUCTS FROM PACKAGING

Carefully remove the products from the package and read the mounting instructions carefully. Remove the mounting accessories and the absorber.

USING THE TEMPLATE / DETERMINE THE POSITION

Align and attach the template to the ceiling. Use the template to mark the drilling locations through the paper using a pencil.

Alternatively you can measure the distances of the dowels inserted in the absorber and mark the measured distances for the drilling holes at the ceiling.

DRILL THE HOLES

Drill the holes at the markings using the drilling machine.

INSERT DOWELS + FASTEN HOLDER

Insert the dowels into the drilled holes and fasten the holder of the wire ropes with four screws M4×40 to the ceiling.

Make sure that the included screws are suitable for the condition of the ceiling

FIX THE WIRE ROPE

Fix The Wire Rope

Insert the four screw threads of the wire ropes in the holder and fasten the screw threads. Make sure that the wire ropes are guided through the recess of the holder.

FIX EYELETS

Screw the four eyelets in the dowels inserted in the absorber.

FIX THE ABSORBER TO THE WIRE ROPES

Insert the hooks of the adjustable wire ropes into the eyelets of the absorber.

ADJUSTING HEIGHT

Adjust the height of the absorber as you wish.

Fix the excess wire rope using cable straps.

Now you can use the absorber.
