Product Information

The PROSCAN PSP1002 Bluetooth Retro Cassette Tape Speaker is a portable speaker that can be used to stream music from iPads, iPhones, iPods, and many types of smartphones. It has a Bluetooth specification of Bluetooth 5.0 (A2DP, HFP, AVRCP) and a Bluetooth range of 33ft (10m). The speaker also has an FM Radio mode and an Aux-ln mode. It comes with a built-in rechargeable lithium battery with a capacity of 300mAh. The package contents include the Bluetooth speaker, user manual, and USB Type C cable.

Product Usage Instructions

Charging the Speaker

1. Attach the USB cable to the unit and plug it into any USB charger.
2. The Red LED will illuminate during charging and turn off when it’s completed.
3. When the battery is low and needs to be recharged, there will be a beep.
4. It will take approximately 2 hours to fully charge at 5V/500mA.
5. Please charge it completely before first-time use.

Begin Streaming Music

1. Use the controls on the connected Bluetooth device to select and begin playing audio.
2. Turn the volume control of the unit to control music volume up or down.
3. Long press the Vol -/Station – or Vol +/Station + button to select the next or previous audio track.

FM Radio Mode

1. When the unit is ON, press the Power button to turn on FM Radio mode.
2. The operational mode indicator changes to blue and green light.
3. Press twice the Power button to scan all stations and save it.
4. Long press the VoI -/Station – or VoI +/Station + button will auto search to the next station.
5. Press the Power button again to switch the speaker back to Bluetooth mode.
6. Note: Please insert USB cable as an antenna for better FM signal reception.

Aux-ln Mode

1. Plug in the 3.5mm cable (not included) into the unit.
2. The other end is connected to your device.
3. The speaker will automatically switch to Aux Mode.
4. The green LED will be flashing when in Aux mode.
5. Please note music and volume can be controlled by your device.

Description

LED Status

• Blue LED flashing & Blue LED solid: Bluetooth mode
• Blue & Green LED: FM mode
• Green LED: Aux mode
• Red LED: Charging
• Red LED off: Full charged
• Red LED flashing: Low battery

Troubleshooting

• Unit doesn’t connect to device: Speaker needs to be connected/ re-paired to device
• A tone is heard every few seconds: Speaker needs to be charged
• Unit will no power on: Speaker needs to be charged
• Unit doesn’t control track(s)/volume: Speaker needs to be in Bluetooth mode for full control
• Unit distorts at high volume: The devices’ volume needs to be lowered

Care and Maintenance

Read the following recommendations before using the Bluetooth Speaker. Following these you will be able to enjoy the product for many years.

• Do not expose the Bluetooth Speakers to liquid, moisture or humidity to avoid the product’s internal circuit being affected.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the device.
• Do not expose the device to extremely high or low temperature as this will shorten the life of electronic devices, destroy the battery or distort certain plastic parts.
• Do not dispose of the device in a fire as it will result in an explosion.
• Do not expose the device to contact with sharp objects as this will cause scratches and damage.
• Do not let the device fall on the floor. The internal circuit might get damaged.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the device as it may get damaged if you are not professional.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Charging the Speaker

• The speaker has built-in rechargeable battery. When the battery is drained out, speaker would turn OFF automatically. please recharge the battery every time it drains out.
• Attach the USB cable to the unit and plug into any USB charger. If the unit is completely discharged, it will take approximately 2 hours to fully charge at 5V/500mA.
• The Red LED will illuminate during charging, when it has completed, the
• Red LED will turn off. There will be a beep when the battery is low and needs to be recharged.
• Please charge it completely before the first-time use.

Operation

• Press and hold the Power Button to power on the speaker.
• If an Aux (3.5 mm) cable is connected to the unit, the Blue LED will turn off, and the Green LED will stay illuminated, notifring you, the unit is in Aux-ln mode.
• Press and hold the power Button again to power Off the speaker.

Bluetooth Mode

Pairing

• The unit will go into “Pairing Mode” when the power is on. The blue light is flashing on the operational mode indicator and ready for pairing. Go into your Bluetooth device settings menu and look for “Pro PSP1002” for pairing.
• After the unit has paired and blue light become solid, it will re-connect automatically when the unit is powered on and the device is in range.

Note: Bluetooth Timeout: 10 minutes. You can press and hold power button to unpair your current device and search for new devices in Bluetooth mode.

90-day Warranty

This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of original purchase.
