Introduction

Thank you for choosing the LivViliti Paptizer Smart Sanitizer, a safe and simple solution to sanitizing.
How does UVC work?
UV refers to ultraviolet light produced by the sun.
UVC refers to UV light with the wavelength between 200-290 nanometers (nm). It is almost entirely filtered out by the atmosphere before reaching the Earth’s surface.
UVC LED lights reproduce the UVC rays by using a special wavelength between 260-280 nm.
UVC light eliminates over 99%of germs and bacteria by destroying their DNA & RNA. UVC light also reduces unpleasant smells by decomposing the molecular structure of odor. It is a ozone free sanitizing method that has been used in hospital and aerospace applications for decades.

Included Parts

  1. Paptizer Smart Sanitizer
  2. Power Supply
  3. Stainless Steel Rack
  4. User Manual
  5. UV Testing Paper

Please check the box for all parts before use. Please contact the place of purchase immediately if an item is missing or damaged.
UV Test Instructions
For the UV test, place the test card in the unit. Run the Paptizer on a fast sanitize cycle. As soon as you hear the double beep, open the unit and check the front of the test card. The pictures of germs and bacteria will turn purple once UV sanitizing has begun. The purple will fade rather quickly after UV exposure has stopped.
This card can be used for up to 20 UV tests; please contact LiViliti Health Products to purchase additional test cards if needed. UV test paper can be thrown away or recycled after 20 uses.
The UV test is optional, though we do recommend to do at least one test when you first get the unit to ensure it is in good working order. If the card does not show purple germs, please follow troubleshooting guidelines on page 6 or call Liviliti.

How To Use

  1. Plug the power supply into the port located on the back of the Paptizer. Plug the other end into a wall outlet.
  2. Open the lid by pressing the OPEN button located on the front of the Paptizer.
  3. Place the stainless steel rack inside. Place your item to be sanitized on top of the rack.
  4. Close the lid and press the ON/OFF button to power up the Paptizer. All buttons should be illuminated.
  5. There are 3 easy-to-use modes available on the Paptizer.

Fast Sanitize – 3 minute sanitizing cycle ideal for when you want an item sanitized quickly and ready to use immediately.
Auto Mode – This cycle goes through a 3 minute sanitizing cycle, then a 60 minute smart drying cycle begins using an internal fan and temperature control features. This will dry small leftover water particles from washing. After the first smart drying cycle, the sensor inside the Paptizer will determine if another 30, 60, or 90 minute drying cycle is needed. Once the drying is complete, the Paptizer will switch to sanitized storage, which uses low light UVC LEDs to keep the items sanitized properly for up to 24 hours or until the lid is opened or the machine is turned off. During the sanitized storage, the LED display will show a constantly rotating light.
Fast Sanitize and Sanitized Storage – 3 minute sanitizing cycle followed by sanitized storage, which uses low light UVC LEDs to keep the items sanitized properly for up to 24 hours or until the lid is opened or the machine is turned off. During the sanitized storage, the LED display will show a constantly rotating light.
A single beep indicates that the power is properly connected to the Paptizer, that the machine is turned on, or that the machine is starting to sanitize.
A double beep indicates that the Fast Sanitize cycle is complete and the machine can be opened.
Please keep the Paptizer plugged in during the whole process. The unit will continue to run during sanitized storage for up to 24 hours or until the unit is shut off.

Troubleshooting

If the machine will not turn on:

  • Ensure the power supply is plugged into the unit all the way. Make sure it is not loose in the port.
  • Ensure that the wall outlet it is plugged into is working properly.
  • Make sure that the power button gets pressed before you press a cycle button.
  • Listen for a beep letting you know that the power has been properly connected.

If the machine does not light up or beep:

  • Ensure the Paptizer is connected to power properly.
  • Try pushing every button to see if it is a malfunction of just one button or all of them.
  • Unplug the unit, then plug it back in and turn it on.

If the UV testing paper does not change color on the fast sanitize cycle:

  • Make sure you open the lid immediately after the double beep.
  • Run a fast sanitize cycle, opening the lid after about 30 seconds of use to see if the color changed. The machine will automatically shut off the UVC LED lights when the lid opens to protect you.

If the UVC LED lights do not turn off when the lid is opened:

  • Immediately close the lid and shut off or unplug the machine.
  • Reattach power and turn on. Press the fast sanitize button and let it run for at least a minute before opening the lid.

If issues persist after troubleshooting steps have been taken, contact LiViliti Health Products.
