Product Information

The Proslat Storage Rack is designed to provide a convenient and efficient storage solution for your garage, workshop, or any other space. The rack is made of high-quality materials and is built to last, providing you with years of reliable use. The storage rack comes with a wall mount bracket, vertical upright, horizontal bar, angle support, crossmembers, and grid. The maximum weight capacity of the rack is 350 pounds when directly mounted to studs or 300 pounds when hung on a Proslat panel.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before installation, ensure that you have all the required parts and tools.
  2. Find a suitable location for your storage rack and mark the position where you want to mount it.
  3. Attach the wall mount bracket (H) to your wall using appropriate screws and anchors. Ensure that the bracket is level.
  4. Attach parts D and C to your wall mount bracket H using hexagonal screws and nuts. Do not tighten before the rack is fully assembled.
  5. Attach the vertical upright (A) to the wall mount bracket using hexagonal screws and nuts.
  6. Attach the horizontal bar (F) to the top of the vertical upright using hexagonal screws and nuts.
  7. Attach the angle support (B) to the horizontal bar and the vertical upright using hexagonal screws and nuts. Repeat this step for the other side of the rack.
  8. Attach the crossmembers (C) to the horizontal bar and angle supports using hexagonal screws and nuts.
  9. Attach the grid (D) to the crossmembers using hexagonal screws and nuts.
  10. Tighten all screws and nuts securely.
  11. Verify that the storage rack is level and secure before use.

Please note that the Proslat Storage Rack comes with a 5-year warranty that covers material and workmanship defects. The warranty is valid provided that the maximum weight capacity of the rack is not exceeded, and the rack is installed as described in the installation instructions. The warranty does not cover corrosion, rust, or discoloration of paint, or product failure due to misuse, abuse, faulty installation, alteration, or any other failure not related to defects in materials or workmanship.

OVERVIEW

YOUR BOX CONTAINS

If you are hanging the tire rack from Proslat panels, replace wallmount bracket (6) with Proslat bracket.
If you have not requested this bracket yet, contact info@proslat.com or 1.888.691.2944 to get yours.

Use hexagonal screw 5/16”x3/4” and hexagonal nuts for the assembly. Do not tighten before the rack is fully assembled

STEP 1. Install D & C to your wallmount bracket H

STEP 2. Install A with D & C. Hand tighten nut as you will need to remove it later on for crossmember.

STEP 3. Once you have completed the first triangle, repeat same steps for right side using D, B & C.

STEP 4. Install the front crossmember F with A and C by removing the nut and bolt, then place the crossmember F in between A & C. Re-attach all three parts with nut & bolt. Repeat with B & C.

STEP 5. Install your back crossmember F in the first hole after the corner.

STEP 6. To complete your assembly, install grid on top

WALLMOUNT INSTALLATION

Locate your studs.
You should have studs located 48” apart. If this is the case, use lag bolts to screw through to appropriate holes in both D into wall. If your studs are not a standard width, use the holes in the backplate H.

PROSLAT INSTALLATION
If you are installing on Proslat panels, simply lift the assembled rack in the air and clip into one of the slats.

PROSLAT STORAGE RACK WARRANTY

We guarantee our storage rack against material and workmanship defects for 5 years. This warranty does not include any cost related to installation or return of the storage rack.
This warranty is valid provided that the maximum weight supported by the storage rack does not exceed 350 pounds when directly mounted to studs or 300 pounds when hung on a proslat panel. The customer, installer or the dealer, releases PROSLAT of all claims if the storage rack has been loaded with more than mentioned above. The rack MUST BE installed as described in the INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.
This warranty does not cover corrosion, rust or discoloration of paint, or product failure due to misuse, abuse, faulty installation, alteration or any other failure not related to defects in materials or workmanship.

Proslat Inc. and its successors, distributors and dealers (hereafter SELLER) shall in no way be responsible for the product’s proper use and service. THE BUYER HEREBY WAIVES ALL LIABILITY CLAIMS. The BUYER acknowledges that he/she is not relying on the SELLER’s skill or judgment to select or furnish goods suitable for any particular purpose and that there are no liabilities which extend beyond the description on the face hereof and the BUYER hereby waives all remedies or liabilities, expressed or implied, arising by law or otherwise, (including without any obligations of the SELLER with respect to merchantability and consequential damages) or whether or not occasioned by the SELLER’s negligence. The SELLER assumes no liability regarding the improper installation or misapplication of its products. It is the installer’s responsibility to check for proper installation and if in doubt, contact the manufacturer. These assembly guidelines will direct you through the process of assembling a section of Proslat Inc product. Please keep in mind that they may not cover every assembly or installation scenario you may encounter. Since each installation is unique in its performance requirements, the ultimate installation method used is the sole responsibility of the installer. Proslat Inc. disclaims any liability or responsibility for the improper installation of this product. The purchaser is solely responsible for compliance with applicable local codes. Proslat Inc. recommends that all designs be reviewed by a licensed architect, engineer or local building official before installation.
