(Please read all instructions carefully before starting.)
HARDWARE CONTENT
Tools Required:
Power Drill
1/8” inch Drill Bit
¼” inch Drill Bit
Level
Flat Head Screwdriver.
Tape Measure
Installation Instructions:
- Center and level hinge side frame (A) onto mounting surface at desired location for either surface or recessed mount installation and mark hinge pilot hole locations. Proceed to drill ¼” inch diameter pilot holes at marked locations. Reposition hinge side (A) and secure the hinges with 5/16″ x 1.5″ non-reversing screws provided.
- Insert center section (C) onto the three horizontal tubes of hinge side section (A) and proceed to insert remaining lock side section (D) into horizontal center tube of section (C).
- Evenly space section (C) between frame sections (A) and (D) and proceed to align lock side striker pockets (B) with the lockbox on section (D). Leave a ¼” inch reveal between lock side frame (D) and lock side striker (B). Proceed to mark and drill the four pilot holes at designated Lock-side striker locations with 1/8” drill bit. Secure Lockside striker (B) with the #8 x 2” non-reversing screws. Fasten screws until seated within the tubing cavity. Finish with positioning cover caps.
- With sections A, C, and D in proper alignment with lock side striker tube (B), then proceed to drill two 1/8” inch pilot holes at each horizontal overlap of center section (C) and secure with two of the Phillips head self-tapping screws at each section.
- Lock box will accept most 2-3/8 backset locksets sold in the hardware dept. (Four machine screws supplied to secure lockset striker and deadbolt to Lock box).
